Rebuilding a friendship

The rest of the day goes by surprisingly quickly. I manage to buy as much necessary clothes as possible and a dress for tonight.

The date. With Harry. It's such a foreign experience for me, words can't even describe how excited, yet nervous, I feel. Plus, I'm going to the Loco Avenue and the mystery around it sends my curiosity to the edge. What makes it so special? What am I going to discover there? I hope it'll be worth my expectations, I didn't wait all this time to be disappointed. But knowing Amanda, I know I won't be.

I told Carla about the whole vandalism thing and she agreed to see the Inspector tomorrow morning before college. It has been an eventful day for both us and I don't want to ruin the peaceful feeling I have right now.

"See ya later!" Amanda shouts toward me from the driver seat. I send her a wink then Carla and I step out of her car and make our way over to our building. We enter our flat, arms full of shopping bags, and head to our own rooms to drop them there.

I start to fold my clothes and hang the most expensive ones, aka three Chanel silk shirts, two Burberry pants and the Yves Saint-Laurent dress I bought. A bunch of tees I bought in Top shop are placed in my drawers and the new green beanie I have finds its place on my head. It's not much and doesn't really compensate the whole loss, but it'll still do it for a couple of days.

"Hello" I glance behind me and see Carla enter my room hesitantly. I smile at her and turn back to the last shirt I'm folding.

"Hey"

"Harry did a pretty good job, I see" I chuckle and nod, placing the shirt next to its brothers

"Yeah, he's really amazing"I sit on my bed, next to her. Even after the whole shopping spree, she still finds herself uncomfortable with me and avoids my stare. I bet the upcoming talk with the police is scaring her, but if I don't press charges -which I'm not- she'll be safe. She'll probably have to do community work or something.

"So you guys are official?" It sounded more like a statement than a question, but I still nod.

"Just like you and Louis. I guess you got back together?" she smiles, her cheeks turning crimson, as an answer.

"I acted like a hysteric bitch and I feel really lucky that he forgave me. Love kind of conquers all at the end" Her words warm my heart and I hope she's right. I could see how sincere Harry was during his confession earlier today, and if he's being honest with me, he deserves the same thing coming from I.

I have to tell him about the whole baby story. The guilt is gradually eating me alive and I've tried to push away those thoughts to protect my peacefulness, but they don't seem to go away. The only possible solution is to tell him everything myself before he founds out by someone else. Even though that is technically impossible.

"Carla, what is done, is done, you can't change the past. But you changed the future by being honest and as soon as we see the inspector, I want both of us to forget about it and be over with it. I want a fresh new start." I place my hand on her shoulder, trying to catch a glimpse of an eye contact. I succeed and she looks up at me, a bright and much more confident grin on her face.

"Plus, I have some gossip for ya" I give her my most mischievous stare and see curiosity light up in her eyes.

"What? Tell me, oh my god, tell me!" She squeaks, gripping my arm excitedly. I giggle at her reaction.

"During breakfast today, the group and I saw Zayn at the restaurant we were at"

"Zayn? Zayn as Zayn Malik? The violent douche bag?"

"Yep! And it looks like we've misjudge him, well not entirely but still" Confusion is clear in her eyes as she stares at me.

"What do you mean?"
