yes i know im updating within like 5 minutes of the last chapter but i felt like this needed a chapter of its own
as much as i like books with (some) romance in them and most of the books i read have (some) romance in them
what i always enjoy the most,,,
is those books that are just fRIENDS DOING SHIT AND LOVING EACHOTHER WITHOUT DATING (or without doing anything with friends with benefits aspects)
because i swear romance is always a good sideplot but just having friends fucking around with eachother and loving and being loyal to eachother without actually falling in love is my favourite thing in the world
yes romance is nice but whats better is friendship
i know this is just me rambling about friendship in books but hONESTLY,,, ITS SO GOOD
god im such a book nerd,,,
im also rambling about it on here because my (irl) friend that i usually obsess over books over is off in hawaii with her family to celebrate christmas
i guess an alternate title for this would just be FRIENDSHIP but im too lazy to change it lmao
but back to the friendship thing,, the thing i mean is that in the percy jackson books,, as much as i love the heroes of olympus and trials of apollo books for their new characters and diversity and shit,,
i'll always really love the early percy jackson books where it was just annabeth, percy, and gROVER (he's so underappreciated and forgotten) because they were just three friends fighting and shit
and as much as percy and annabeth are a cute couple i just really like the first book where they weren't dating and just being kids fighting deadly monsters
i don't know i just really like the youth in book series
