a mess of a chapter

this is just going to be me rambling about recent stuff thats been happening

first of all!! i got a percy jackson poster from a raffle my lit/la teacher did and even though its like a picture from the movie i still love it,, its great

^^^ its so pretty omf

my dad is also renting all the star wars movies from the library because he really wants me to watch them (ive only seen the new ones like rogue one and the force awakens) after reading george lucas's biography so hes in a star wars mood and stuff

also did you know that r2-d2's name means reel two - dialogue two,,

it came from when george lucas was working on american graffiti and they had reels of music to go with the dialogue and scenes and someone said r2-d2 and he wrote it down because it sounded cool

and chewbacca was inspired by his dog named indiana which was a big dog, his breed was an alaskan malamute and he was sitting up straight next to his wife in the car and he thought it looked funny, so he was inspired to have a dog-like guy as a sidekick

i know this was supposed to be rambling about shit happening in my life but i just really like the facts my dad tells me about star wars lmao

i also joined the spelling team at my school

it was a little funny because me and six other people (making there seven of us) walked in and the teacher managing it looks at us and exclaims, "this is the most people we've had in years!"

so that was nice

my family is also having two of my friends (who are twins) and their family over for dinner in like half an hour and for the entire day my dad has been running around the house cleaning and making food

he likes cooking and baking so i dont think he's too stressed out or anything,, he himself has been joking about how hes doing all the work

i also finally went shopping for clothes since i only had enough pants to last me just barely a week and those were falling apart so yay, i have more clothes

i got more books too so my book pile is bigger than ever,,

the three books i got was this magnus chase guide to vahalla book, a warriors super edition "hawkwing's journey", and aristotle and dante discover the secrets of the universe

i also saw a book that looks kinda good?? but i didnt get it because im a little iffy on it,,

its called i'm not your manic pixie dreamgirl and its about this popular girl and her jock boyfriend dumps her for the new girl that just moved in and as the main character forms a plan to break up the couple she realizes how shes losing herself and who she really is in the process

it kinda gave me mean girls vibes?? but yeah thats a book that i saw

im also finally getting really into six of crows and its great, inej is my favourite character so far and im a little distraught because inej and nina would be a really cute couple but (mini [kinda??] spoilers!!) you can tell that kaz and inej are probably going to end up being canon if there are any canon relationships in the book

i also listened to satisfied from hamilton because my friend memorized the entire thing and was singing it during lunch yesterday and omf its so good,,

ive also been listening to all the boys by p!atd a lot lately and if you havent heard it please listen to it its such a good song i love it so much

im also working on a book thats called "guide to hiding yourself from humans, written by a real" and the reason its called written by a real is because the words after that are supposed to be crossed out

i think so far it has the longest prologue ive ever written and im proud about that

also im not posting on here or on ao3 or anything im just writing it during my freetime at school

i also am watching season two of shadowhunters on freeform because i read the books and loved them and ive seen most of season one and i honestly just want to see how the tv show plays out differently than the books

simon is still my son because in whatever franchise hes in, tv show or books, hes still cute as fuck

hes also pansexual and i love that even though it wasnt ever mentioned in the books
