((most of this will be about new leaf but some might include city folk))
if you don't know what animal crossing is, its a nintendo game where you're the mayor of your town (in new leaf, in the others youre just a resident) and you basically just interact with the villagers (who are animals) and build your town and make it pretty and decorate it however you want,,
now onto the animal crossing origin stories (for me)
so a few years ago my sister got animal crossing city folk for the wii and she made her character but she also let me make one too,, and it was super fun and i'd always go to the city and check out the shit and man,, that was a good time and a good game
so then when new leaf came out i really wanted it and got it as a christmas present and i did a lot of productive shit,,
and then i stopped playing it for a year,,
but since i recently just decided "hey why don't i take a look at all the nintendo games i personally own" i've been playing animal crossing a lot
also the main reason i love it is because its just calming and you don't have to worry about fighting monsters or anything like that,,
but yeah, animal crossing is a nice game and if you decide to play it i recommend new leaf since theres a lot more to do in it since it is the latest one (unless you count happy home designer and the mario party amiibo one)
((also happy home designer is just where you decorate the villager's houses so to me its more of minigame-like(??) game,, but yeah, i recommend new leaf)

also my town is called meowtown and that is the cutest thing ive ever seen come from past me so im happy
((also also merengue is one of my villagers and shes a rhino and she is a literal aNGEL! i love her))
