i sound way more angry in the title then i actually am,,
okay i know i jus posted a chapter but i need to rant, so sometimes i look up those weird boyxboy werewolf stories on here because theyre interesting??? to read??
((also the term boyxboy bugs me i am sorry for using it but it is what the people call their stories))
and i also sometimes read those really weird omega/alpha/beta stories
main point is, i read stories that i hate because i get interested
and the oNE THING THAT I HATE ABOUT THEM!!!
THE FUCKING OVER CONTROLLING ALPHA!!!!!
i read this one where the alpha was basically verbally abusing his omega "mate" and the pulled the whole,
"i just dont want you to be taken away from me, i love you too much," BULLSHIT EXCUSE
(i say i read one when really thats half of them; maybe even more then half)
and then tonight i was reading an alpha/beta/omega johnlock fic ((i hate a/b/o fics and i have only seen season one of sherlock but i was hoping for a different outcome in this book))
and i fucking hate the story
i know that the authors are probably nice people in real life but I JUST CANNOT HANDLE THE UNHEALTHY RELATIONSHIP
so watson is an omega and theres this whole bullshit omega protection program which says since omegas and alphas are endangered an omega has to bong with an alpha by the age of 18 and have at least two children
AT 8 YEARS OLD WATSON GETS PAIRED UP WITH SHERLOCK
EIGHT YEARS OLD
AND EVEN THOUGH WATSON HATES SHERLOCK AND THEY DONT REALLY WANT TO BOND THIS SHITTY GOVERNMENT SAYS THE ONLY WAY WATSON AND SHERLOCK COULD GET OUT OF THE THING IS IF SHERLOCK'S PARENTS (because of course, only the alpha gets a say in the situatuon,,)) BOTH AGREE TO CALL OFF THE WHOLE THING
then watson goes into his whole hear and sherlock tries to bond with him but sherlock's older brother (not mycroft) stops them and the dad gets all angry,,
and later watson feels all ashamed bc it was omega heat stuff making him want to bond and basically his body betrayed him since he didnt really want to fuck sherlock (technically its bond with sherlock but who gives a fuck)
then watson runs off when hes eighteen, disguised as a beta to join the army as a medic because he always wanted to be a doctor
AND I JUST WANTED THE BOOK TO END THERE!!! SHERLOCK IS HAPPY THAT HE DOESNT HAVE TO DO THAT MATE SHIT, WATSON IS A DOCTOR,, AND FUCK THE GOVERNMENT AND ALL THEIR CONTROLLING BULLSHIT!!
BUT NO!!!!!! WATSON GETS SHOT, PASSES OUT, WAKES UP IN SHERLOCKS BEDROOM, HIS HEAT STARTS AND HE AND SHERLOCK BOND!
NO!!
i just,,,
these stories just make me want to slap the author in the face sometimes
i just need an a/b/o story where the omega is asexual and says to the alpha, hey can we just be cuddle buddies i dont want to do any of that bond or heat/rutt stuff
and the alpha (who actually has control over their body) just responds, its your choice and thats totally fine with me :)
