[Fia's POV]

"Fia, you're spacing out. Kanina ka pa. Sino ba 'yang iniisip mo?" si Alice na sinusubuan si Violet ng chicken joy. "Kanina kapa tingin ng tingin diyan sa phone mo. Nakikinig ka ba?"

"Huh? Ah yes... I'm listening..." napalunok ako at napatingin kay Alice. "Ano nga ulit yun?"

Alice rolled her eyeballs. "Sabi ko, I'll set you up on a date tomorrow. Kaya please lang, kundi kapa nakaka move on diyan kay Elj, pagkakataon mo na ngayon. He's Marco's cousin. He's a lawyer. Twenty-nine years old. Mula sa magandang pamilya. Gwapo, at higit sa lahat mabait. I'm sure he could level your standard kung si Elijah ang pamantayan mo."

I glared at Louise na mukhang patay malisya lang na sumubo ng pagkain. "Ah eh...ano, girl. Busy kasi ako bukas. Inaasikaso ko kasi iyong pagtatayuan ng resto namin ni Mommy sa Ortigas. Tsaka I have a date bukas with--"

Natigilan ako ng bigla nalang lumapit si Violet sa tabi ko and in no time grabbed my phone saka nagmamadaling bumalik sa tabi ni Alice.

"Mommy, look! Tita Fia is looking at the pictures of my crush. Yay, you like him too, Tita?" she chimed in innocently. "Have you seen his billboards, Tita? He's so hot, diba? I like his body. Daddy Marco is hot too but Kuya Kayden Andrei Montero is way way hotter," she snickered, brought the phone to her face, and excitedly swiped the screen.

Nanlalaki ang mga mata kong napatingin kay Violet. Pati si Alice ay mukhang gulat na gulat din sa sinabi ng anak nito.

Gee Violet! Alices' daughter is sillier than I thought!

"Violet!" Alice scowled at pinanlakihan ng mata si Violet. "That is your Tita Fia's phone! What did I tell you? Hindi ka dapat nangingialam ng gamit na hindi sa'yo! Isuli mo 'yan."

"But, Mommy...nakita ko kasing kanina pa ni Tita tinitingnan yung photos ni Kuya Kayden. Tita Fia seems to like my crush, too. Is that bad?" Violet's voice trailed off.

Nasapo ko ang ulo ko. Ugh!

Louise was trying to suppress a laugh.

"What you did is bad. Give that back to your Tita Fia and say sorry," said Alice na nagdududa akong tinititigan.

Violet pursed her lips and slowly came to me to hand my phone. "I'm sorry, Tita Fia. But you'd agree with me, right? He's hot?"

Though what she did was silly, I couldn't help but give her a gentle smile. She looked so adorable in her fascination. " Yeah V, he's hot."

"Yay! And he's not just only hot but he's super talented and kind too," she looked at her mother. "Remember that one Saturday, Mommy, when I and my classmates went to this hospital for children with cancer to give gifts? He was there and he sang a song! And like gosh, his voice was so sexy!" she giggled putting both hands on her mouth na parang kinikilig. "Grabe, he was so hot that some of my classmates are crushing on him too!"

Louise wasn't able to help herself but laughed out loud. " Wow V, you're nevertheless a fruit of your own mother. You both like hot people."

"Shut up, Louise!" si Alice na pinaningkitan si Louise but Louise just shrugged her shoulders habang tatawa-tawa parin.

"Yeah, because my Daddy Marco is hot!" Violet answered animatedly.

Alice made Violet finish her food habang pinapangaralan.
