[Kayden's POV]

I have never loved a woman to the point of losing myself. Since I started to recognize my feelings for her, she was the only one that I care about. I put her on a pedestal, taking away my pride, swallowing every ton of hurt that I feel whenever I don't hear a comeback I love you from her, giving her every favor though I feel like she had only kept me for her use. Kinaya kong lahat ng iyon because I was determined that eventually, I will have her heart.

And I thought I did. But I just thought.

Sinubukan kong gumalaw but I couldn't move a muscle. My head hurts from taking in over a dose of alcohol. I tried to move my hands but they hurt the same too. I might have broken every knuckle I have from beating the wall of this room. Ni hindi ko na kinayang umabot sa kama. I wasn't able to make it to bed last night because I've passed out when I've drained all my force of beating the wall. Ang natatandaan ko, hinatid ako ni Dino dito para matulog dahil sa sobra kong kalasingan. I remembered asking him to leave when he opened the door for me and then I started punching the wall. Right now, the alcohol has totally worn off and I needed more to shut off my senses again. Ayaw kong muling pumikit na hindi lasing dahil maiisip ko lang ang nangyari kagabi. That could have been a nightmare. But my swelling hands and my eyes that hardly opens from crying last night were too evident.

Though it hurts like fuck, sinubukan kong muling bumangon mula sahig. Luckily, I was able to find my gait this time though I felt like my head was three times heavier than it already was. The room was dark but there was a stray of light that passes under the door space.

"Boss!" I heard a knock from outside. The door opened before I could reach the knob. Dino was right in front of me. He immediately clicked the light switch. "Boss mabuti naman gising kana. Kanina pa ako tinatawagan ng mommy mo. Sobra na silang nag-aalala sa'yo. Gusto ko na ngang sabihing nandito ka pero baka ako naman ang malagot sa'yo."

I pressed a hand to my temple. Sinubukan kong pumikit at dumilat muli. Medyo nag a-adjust pa ang mata ko sa liwanag. Hindi ko pinansin ang sinabi ni Dino. I went to the door jamb at bahagyang itinukod ang namamaga kong kamay doon. I don't think I can face my own family today. I might not help myself and breakdown in front of them. Hindi ko alam kung pa'no ko ipapaliwanag sa kanila lahat. They might already know what happened by now. Baka nasabi na ni Nanay Marla ang totoo.

"Din, pwede mo ba ulit akong dalhan ng alak? Kapag tumawag muli si mommy sabihin mo paring hindi mo alam kung nasa'n ako," sabi kong pilit dinilat ang mga mata.

"Boss, hindi na pwede. Kailangan mo nang magpakita sa pamilya mo ngayon. Kanina pa dapat kitang ginising kaso alam kong malakas ang tama mo kagabi. Pero boss, gabi na ngayon at buong araw kana nilang hinahanap. Umiiyak na ang mommy mo sa pag-aalala. At ito boss, bad news!" he said and handed me a sheet. "Basahin mo boss."

Confused, inabot ko ang tabloid. I don't have to check and see through the page because the pictures cover almost half of the paper!

Without a word, I threw the tabloid back to Dino and headed out of their house in my almost unsteady gait. I was greeted by his wife on my way out but I just gave her an apologetic look and went out right away to look for my truck that was parked outside of their gate.

Where on earth were those photos from? I was sure as hell that I stored Fia's camera inside my vault.

Kahit masakit pa ang mga kamay at nanlalabo pa ang mga mata ko ay sinubukan kong magpatakbo ng mabilis. I don't know if how Tita Mandy would take this, si Mommy, si Daddy ang mga kapatid ko, si Kuya, at lalong lalo na si Fia. She might have hurt me so much but I have never wanted to put her to shame. And I never will. Ni hindi minsan sumagi sa isip ko na ilabas ang video. No woman should be put to shame like that.
