[Fia's POV]

"I'm glad you could join us for dinner, Fia," Tita Sofia smiled at me while Tito Gab had been too mindful of her plate. Nilagyan ni Tito ng kanin ang pinggan ni Tita at ipinaghimay pa ito ng sugpo. I suddenly felt a knot in my chest. Was there love as great as theirs? After decades of marriage, they were still the same old couple I recalled. Sobrang malambing parin sila sa isat-isa. Lalo na si Tito Gab, you could see by the way he looks at Tita Sofia that his love for her was greater than what the eyes can only see. I felt bad again for my own parents.

"Thank you rin po sa pag invite, Tita. I'm out by six and there is not much to do at home," I smiled.

Silang mag-asawa, si Cassy, Bubble at dalawang househelp lang ang kasama ko ngayon sa hapag. Their sons were busy doing their thing. Mikho's inside the seminary so hindi talaga basta-bastang nakakauwi. Rafael's into med school and was living on his own para maka focus daw umano ito sa pagdo-doktor. I silently sighed at the thought. Nakakapanlumo. Ang sakit sakit isiping matutuloy nga ang kasal nila. Elj deserves better than that shallow mean social butterfly of a woman.

Bahagya akong napalunok saka napatango. "Opo, Tita. Nandoon naman po si Aya at iyong iba pa niyang staff para turuan ako. He's really helping me."

"Angel, why won't you let Fia eat first? Mamaya kana magtanong. She hasn't eaten anything," said Tito Gab in a soft but stern tone. He gave me an apologetic look.

Tipid kong nginitian si Tito. I wasn't comfortable that Kayden's the topic. And I felt guilty that I'm in front of his parents. Kung alam lang nila ang pinaggagawa namin ni Kayden. That jerk! I still hate him for humiliating me. In fact, I returned the anklet he gave me. Nilagay ko kanina sa ibabaw ng office table niya. Did he give me that anklet to tag me as one of his women? Kapal ng mukha niya!

Hindi ko nga lang sinali si Garfield kasi pinanghihinayangan ko. Cute kasi eh.

We ate silently for a while until we were halfway of our meal. Nagsimula na muli kaming mag-usap. Tito Gab asked me about the location in Ortigas kung saan plano ni Mommy mag open ng resto. Sabi ni Tito tumawag daw sa kanya si Kayden. Kayden will let one of Tito Gab's architect check the building kapagka nakita na umano nito yung location.

Kita niyo? That jerk decides for me without even consulting me?

"Hindi pa po niya nakikita iyong building. Baka po sa susunod na mga araw. I think busy pa po siya ngayon," sabi ko nalang ng magtanong si Tito.

Tito Gab shot me a confused look, but gladly, hindi na siya muling nagtanong. Nasabi kaya ni Kayden sa kanya the other day na pupuntahan namin iyong location? Kaso kasama ko kasi si Eric nun.
