[Fia's POV]

"Assuming ka...hindi kaya..." I simply muttered, enough for both of us to hear. I was hardly trying to maintain a uniform breath kasi pakiramdam ko kinakapos na ako ng hininga.

"Hindi nga?" he asked teasingly, lightly brushing his lips against the shell of my ear.

What was he doing? Hindi ba niya alam na nandito si Cassy at Veronica?

I took a backward stride at pasimpleng kumawala sa yakap niya but the jerk just gave me a soft chuckle. "Come on. Let's eat. I'm famished," he said and attempted to take my hand but I was fast to place it behind my back.

Goodness! Good thing Cassy was busy checking her pasalubong. I'm not sure about Veronica.

I heard him sigh then he marched off to the dining. I didn't know if he was just teasing me or what.

I was missing him but these people doesn't need to know. Lalo na siya. Hindi ko aamining na miss ko siya, no!

Since the dinner was ready , Cassy and Veronica went inside the Music room to call Bleeze and some of Kayden's friends. Sumunod rin ako sa kanila. When all was outside ay sandali muna akong nakipagbatian.

Bubble was there pala. Dala dala ni Khalib. She was really cute and adorable lalo na at nag bi-baby talk. She was just one year old kaya paisa-isang salita lang ang nasasabi niya.

"Wow, Fia. You look gorgeous as always," Yuan gave me a lopsided smile while simply looking at my figure.

This guy hasn't really changed. Sobrang bolero parin. Well, he's actually the closest to Kayden's kind. Mas jerk parin kasi yun.

Tipid kong nginitian si Yuan though I was tempted to roll my eyeballs. "Thank --"

"You two, get inside," si Kayden na nasa may hamba ng pinto sa dining area at naka kunot ang noo.

"Dude, kararating mo lang. Huwag masyadong high blood," Yuan laughed.

Kayden ignored him. Hindi narin ako sumagot at pumasok na sa loob. Anong problema ng lalaking 'to at nagsusuplado na naman?

"Doon ka maupo sa tabi ni Miguel," utos niya kay Yuan.

"Problema mo, P're?" natatawang tanong ni Yuan saka napailing na tinungo ang tabi ni Miguel.

Next to Kayden was the only vacant seat kaya wala akong naging choice kundi ang umupo sa tabi niya.

We started to dig the food on the table when we were all settled. Cassy did prepare a sumptous meal. May Kare-kare, Steak, Ginataang Alimango, Grilled Tuna Panga, at Adobo. Obviously, paboritong lahat ni Kayden ang nakahanda. Except lang sa kaisa-isang vegetable salad na dish.

Paniguradong si Cassy lang ang nagluto dahil sa pagkakatanda ko, puro pag iinarte lang ang alam gawin ni Veronica. She's the exact definition of a social butterfly who knows nothing but flaunt her skin.

Nagka-asaran silang lahat habang kumakain kami. And I could do nothing but listen.

"I wonder kung saan ka talaga nasabit nung birthday mo, dude, na nakalimutan mong may mga naghihintay sa'yo sa bar mo? Baka may binabahay ka nang chikababes hindi pa namin alam," si Ric na nanunuksong tinitigan si Kayden.
