|| Chapter 9 ~ Christmas Freak-Out! ||

My eyes fluttered open as sun shines in my face. Once I get my vision adjusted, I reconise Isaac is at the curtains tugging behind a post in the wall. Last nights clothes were scattered around on the floor, me only left in vest and shorts. I snuggle back into the bed and hide my bare face from the light with the covers.
"Nooo, Isaac," I groan not wanting to leave.

"It's the day before Christmas Eve, Leora. Come on! Get up!" My eyes shot open once he had finished sentence.

The day before Christmas EVE?!!??!

I hadn't picked up any presents for anyone, let alone Isaac. I panicked and jumped out of bed and grabbing my laptop as soon as I reached my room. Sitting at my desk with my laptop in front on me, typing away like the mad hatter in the future, inviting all his friends for a tea party that after noon. But my case was so much worse. I came onto 'urban Outfitters' website for Ivy and searched for homeware stuff. We both loved Homeware so as I was shopping for Ivy, I was basically drooling all over the screen.

I was quickly running through a bunch of websites buying presents until it came to Isaac. Stumped. I knew what everybody wanted but except Isaac. Sometimes I hated buying presents because I always got confused on what to buy certain people. I reached for my phone to call Ivy. It rung for about a millisecond until she woke up.
"Hey Leora!" She squealed.

"Hey, okay so I am stumped on," I stopped to look out side my door then close it ",On what to buy Isaac."

"Well, I have bought Levi another canvas and a pillow saying 'Pictures can be stronger than words'. I don't know I just thought that quote was cute," I could imagine her smiling to herself.

"Well I don't know what to buy Isaac, can you help?" I was on the edge of crumbling into a wreck.

"Has he said anything about what he wants?" She questioned.

I tried to replay any memories we had to see if there was anything at all ",Nooo...."
I am such a great girlfriend.

"Come on think!" She screamed back at me. I was surprised because she had never yelled like this since we had to wait about 6 months or more to find out who A.D in 'Pretty Little Liars.'

"I honestly have no idea!" My mind was blank.

"LEORA... I mean," she coughed a bit ",Leora, darling, you need to find any memory you have had with Isaac that has been important... like... The first time you kissed?"

"How could I put that into a gift?" I laughed. It was definitely not a romantic scene.

"I don't know!"

An idea had sprung into my head but I had no idea if it was for him.

"What about... In Brighton we went ice skating and he taught me to ice skate, so maybe like a crystal ornament of us skating?"

"I don't know, it sounds too much like you."

"Okay maybe I can get that for the both of us. I need something for him now!!!!" I was so close to giving up.

"A onesie."

I was bewildered. A onesie? Why would she think of that?

"'A onesie?' There is no point in that, Ivy!" I laughed with anger. Frustrating to have a friend like this sometimes.

"Yeah, you have a bunny onesie so why don't you get him one? Matching!" Her ship, I rolled my eyes.

"Okay, I guess that is a good idea," I thought about it a little more ",Wait- that is an amazing idea!"

"Really?" She seemed surprised.

"Yeah! And maybe I can get him a watch with a picture with us behind him!" I squealed. I searched around on my laptop, phone and my bedroom. There was about 5 pictures but they were terrifying.
1. It was me taking the picture and it was us in Brighton when we were hiking.
2. Ivy took a picture of me and Isaac sleeping (creepy)
3. Isaac took a picture of me and him decorating for Halloween.
4. I took the selfie of us moving into our dorm room.
5. Levi took a picture of Isaac hugging me and smiling at the camera and then there is me, looking up confused at him.

"Any chance of you having photos of me and Isaac?" I felt stupid asking, obviously she had picture of us.

"Yeah! Why wouldn't I?" She laughed. I got an email from 'IvyMarisol@TheCuriousWarlock.co.uk'. I opened up the email, showing me a picture of me and Isaac kissing at the Ice Rink in Brighton. It was kind of... cute. I guess.

"Thanks Ivy! I am gonna go and find a website to see if this actually exists and I am gonna find that bunny onesie!"

"Yeah, I have to go wrap my presents," that made me feel nervous ",BYE LEORA!"

"Bye..."

I had ordered Isaac's, my dad's, Ivy's, Levi's and I got  Olivia a present. Once I had ordered it I felt terrible but I got over it quickly, she had been through a lot and we are kind of half sisters?
I came out of my room, still wearing my clothes I slept in. Isaac was sat on the sofa watching 'Elf'.
"Isaac, do you have wrapping paper?" I ask walking over to the sofa and plonking myself down next to him.

"Yeah, I have wrapped all mine! It's in my room in the corner," he said with pride but all it made me feel was guilt. I didn't even think about Christmas presents.
