|| Chapter 20 ~ "You threw the note in the pizza box?!" ||

It was the night before Isaac's birthday and I felt like crawling in a hole and not coming out. I was terrified for some reason. I had celebrated one birthday before but with all the drama it was nerve racking. My mind was settled on one gift, and that very gift was the geography book that he asked to share, the very first time he talked to me. And trust me, it wasn't all that easy to pry it from Mrs Williams hands as she was the schools librarian. I had to beg and even go into the school and dropped down on my knee's as it was the only thing I had time for. I had wrapped it in a blue ribbon and a nice bow sat on top. The book, 'Sea-levels', was a beautiful sage green with a picture of the ocean waves slap-bang in the middle of the front cover. The authors name was at the bottom in the same font as the title, Francis George. I knew this present wasn't much, but I thought it was cute and sentimental.
I laid there in my bed wondering if Isaac was awake or asleep. I was nervous about Isaac's parents coming. The only time they had really saw me was when I was crying on their doorstep, which - as you would image - is not a good example to set as a girlfriend.

I woke up exactly as I fell asleep, sick to my stomach. I got out of bed and tried to make myself presentable and I checked the time on my phone, 5:37am which gave me loads of time to get his breakfast ready. First I cooked the bacon, then the eggs, sausage, beans, toast and a tomato. I made the same for some but much less.
By the time I was done with his breakfast it was 7:51 and he must of been awake because I heard a huge yawn. My hand gently knocked on the door in my other hand was his breakfast on a bright yellow tray. He opened the door and smiled at me.
"Leora," he helped me into the room and set it on bedside table. Isaac then got into his bed and offered me in ",What have I told you about wearing socks when you sleep?" We both laughed. I tucked myself under the covers and hugged Isaac.

"Happy birthday!" I smiled. I kissed him on the cheek.

"Thank you Sweet Cheeks," he then kissed me and looked over at the food ",where's yours?"

"It's in the kitchen, I'll go get it now if you ready to eat?"

"Yeah!" I came out of his room and grabbed mine which was also on a sunshine yellow tray. We finished out breakfast together and I set our trays on the side.
"That was gorgeous!"

"Thanks! Wait, I also have a present for you," I smiled brightly as I hurried off out the room. My hands gripped firmly around the book and hid it behind my back before entering the room.
Isaac's elbow was standing his top half up.
I turned it round and sat on the bed beside him.
"It's the geography book from when we first met."

"You're so cute," he smiled he kissed me firmly for a while.
"Leora," his eyes met mine ",I love you." My heart skipped a beat.
Isaac Hunter loves me! AND HE SAID IT!
I couldn't speak, nothing came out of my mouth.

"I love you too."

I had gone out to get me and Isaac a dominoes, we were starving and it was only 12:58pm, 4 hours after we had our big breakfast. I unlocked the door. I found my eyes focused on a batch of white flowers. There was a note on top of the flowers, I had daren't open it.

Now she was pushing it. Isaac's door opened and I threw the note in the pizza box. I then cursed myself for doing so. Isaac stepped out and smiled at me while I smiled nervously hoping he wouldn't notice anything wrong with the pizza box. He yawned and looked over to the side, his eyes were laid upon the bunch of flowers.
"Is there supposed to be a note?" He searched through then hoping to find the slip of paper. For some reason I became very nervous so I acted on it.

"I'm going to take this pizza box out!" My voice raised higher than usual. I grabbed the pizza box, which felt like a ton of guilt in my hands, and managed to pull open the door a bit.
