Notice at end :) xxx
The number one rule is,' our substitute English professor Mr Kaye said, 'don't forget a pencil.' We had just a 2 hour lecture about how Mark, down in the corner, had forgot a pencil in his dorm and had a complete meltdown. Refusing to leave class as he sobbed on his books, sir had to calm him down with ocean sounds. How embarrassing. Don't get me wrong I let out a little snigger, but poor Mark. He wasn't good under pressure.
'Amusing?' Isaac came over to my seat.
'Very,' I smiled as Mark walked past giving me the dead eye as it leaked.
As we came out of the class Isaac turned to me, 'What are your plans tonight?'
'Meeting Mae again. We're going to see Spider-Man: Homecoming!' I smiled brightly. His face immediately dropped.
'I thought we'd watch that together.'
'Sorry,' I turned to face him, 'you can come along though. I'm sure Mae doesn't mind. She seems to really like you.'
'Yeah,' he trailed off, 'no you can go. I'm going to go catch up with Levi,' he kissed me fast on the forehead then leaving me as he jogged over so slightly over to Levi who was with Ivy. I looked away. I felt like I was drifting away but I didn't feel sorrow. It was more a happy and in between with worried that they might not include me, even though I seemed to be already doing so.
Walking down the halls I wanted college to be over, it was so time consuming and hard work. It was worth it though, but my god. Mae texted me; I'll come to yours at 4? I replied with a yes leaving it at that. I only had half an hour to change, but it wasn't like it was a big dinner and had to dress for the Queen.
I was laid on the ground waiting for a knock on the door. I had my hair curled, black skinny jeans and a soft pink jumper. My hands threw up and down some socks that were in a ball. Isaac was in his room probably talking to Levi. Suddenly his door opened, he looked down at me with his phone coming down from his ear. I didn't take my eyes off of the ball, I was on a roll. 'Leora, are you okay?' He asked with concern.
'Magnificently extraordinary,' I kept throwing. There was a knock on the door. I didn't sit up. 50.
'It's open,' Isaac called. Beamed in Mae, her giddy smile vanishing, watching me for my championships.
'Uh,' she started. It's my skills. My skills have taken the words out of her mouth! 'Is she okay?' She was like Isaac's echo. I assumed Isaac nodded as I heard nothing over the crowd going wild. 100.
'And your goal exactly?' Mae shut the door, making herself comfortable.
'Eye on the ball. 'Keep your head in the game',' I quoted High School Musical, which put me off a little repeating the song lyrics.
'Oh my Lord, save yourself,' Isaac said like a robot to Mae, like a robot but she just sniggered.
'How long are you going to be?' Mae interrupted my skills. No appreciation for talent. 'Tom Holland is waiting.' She teased. 150.
'Tom Holland doesn't see these skills. He wouldn't want me to stop. When I'm crowd King and Queen of this, I will thank Tom Holland for not giving up on me,' King and Queen so no one could defeat me. My arms started to ache but I was already planning my speech. Maybe I had gone mad. Officially. '200!' I yelled. I'm surprised Riley, and no doubt Cameron not being there, would of heard me.
'Is this normal?' Mae said over me to Isaac, concerned. Conserved that I was killing it. But not literally or no challenge not that there was before.
'I would like to say yes so I knew how to handle her, but no. It's all new.' He sounded like he had no hope in the world. 250.
'Oh my God!' I said rather loudly to myself. My arms felt like I was pushing them into a different dimension.
'Maybe you should stop,' Mae suggested. Just like that, everything was ruined. Isaac reached for the pair of socks as I threw them up one last time. I gasped, still in the catching position, my head slowly turning to glare at him. He detangled them, slipping them on as if my life had not flashed before my eyes and he was the cause of it. 'Come on,' Mae dragged me to my feet, 'I forgot my phone at my dad's office.' Isaac kissed me goodbye and gave a sarcastic wave as I just smirked on the way out.
This one is a short one, sorry. Pretty interesting the way it turned out, don't you think? Ahaha.
Anyway. I have 2 new stories! Sorry I'm kind of running low on Leora and Isaac. But these 2 new stories have storylines plotted out (kind of) but with 'still wondering' I had NO idea what would happen throughout and now there is so much drama.
