|| Chapter 19 ~ 'Popcorn-Munching Monster!' ||

"What a gorgeous day!" Ivy beamed as we walked along the town street. I couldn't help myself from worrying about Isaac's birthday. It seemed too close to Christmas! It wasn't giving me any time to think!
Quattuordecuple 'Oh Lord!'
I gave in, I would certainly not do the 'Oh Lord' thing again! I would restrict myself!
"Now Ivy, don't skip to conclusions!" What was I saying?

"You seem to have a problem," She said. 'Oh Quindecuple Lord' was she right.
She probably didn't know about Isaac's birthday coming up. 5 more days it was. Scary as needles... well that was a stretch. My silence broke when Ivy blurted out a strange noise.

"What?"
Nothing.

"Ivy?" We were waking along side each other so I could see her expression.
She suddenly stopped walking with her mouth dropped open. I stood in front of her and tried to pear above at her phone.
"Oh god," those were the words she used.

"'Oh God,' for what?"

"Do you know the girl in our English? Charlotte?" She asked.
She was a nice girl. Always raising her hands for the questions no one could answer because we can't bare to be with Mr Frenmus, a real fighter.
"She is pregnant!"
I then went speechless as Ivy had done before.
Pregnant?! No!
I am so sorry but, Sexdecuple 'Oh Lord!!'
I knew her and she was pregnant! Me and Isaac hadn't even thought about kids yet, let alone me pregnant!
But it is known for 19 year olds to have kids. Then my butterflies flew around, the thought of me and Isaac sharing a kid! It was like back in secondary school when I looked at him feeling, and I had only just gotten over it.
Sickness, that described me.
"What?! Are you sure?" I asked with panic. She was so nice and all.

"She put it on her Twitter page 'There is no need to discriminate me even if I am pregnant.' So I am guessing it's true," wowcha! I guess these things happen, should leave her alone.
"So what do you think of it?" Ivy asked, curious.

"Um, well I could never do it but I guess it's legal and okay."

"Okay!"

Still blinded from the Charlotte situation, the day seemed to take a rise. Me and Ivy found the cutest little shops ever! We even came across a donut cafe, and honestly I could of stayed there all day. They tasted delicious!
My mind had nearly forgotten all about the incident before but it wasn't quite gone.
I knew Isaac's present had to be special but I had no idea what.
"Moving on from Charlotte, Ivy I need a present for Isaac," I moaned. She turned to me and smiled.

"A baby!"

"Ivy! Focus, I could get his parents down to celebrate and go out to a restaurant. And then for a present.... a rug? A kettle? A mug! Yes! A mug!"

"Okay boring Brenda-"

"Hey!"

"Look I am sure he'll love it."

"He better!"

I got home from purchasing a mug that said all the stuff he loved on it. I smiled at the thought. I had given his parents a call and they were coming down on the night before his birthday. The college dorms seemed quiet, as it was 10pm. I unlocked the dorm door to find Riley sitting on my sofa. MY SOFA!
"Oh hey!" She smiled as she got up ",What are you doing?"

"Um, Riley this is my dorm and that is my sofa and why are you in my dorm?"

"Well Isaac invited me round," she folded her arms.

"What? Where is he?"

"Shower."

"WHAT? Why?"

"He is hungry," she laughed ",What do you think, Dummy?"

"Get out." My face turned bright red and i lump in my throat.

"No one tells me to get out. Why don't you?" She didn't move an inch. She wasn't even threatened.

"Riley if you don't get out of my dorm I swear you will regret it," she started to tremble and she stormed out of the room into the college hallway, slamming the door on the way out. I marched over to the sofa to find my popcorn.
"So you sit on my sofa and eat my frigging popcorn! That is too far!" I screamed.

I heard the shower door shut. Oh no, Isaac has just heard me scream about popcorn. He must think I am mad.
"Alright, Mad Hatter?" He stood in his grey jogging bottoms and a white t-shirt. I started to cry. Not because of my popcorn, well partly, but my life seemed like it was falling apart. How could I be related to a popcorn munching monster?!

"Isaac, Why was Riley here?" I trembled.

"What? She was here?" He looked over at my popcorn bag ",Leora, your popcorn. I knew how much you loved that." He came over and hugged me.

No one eats my popcorn and gets away with it...
