New Girlfriend?

Brynlee's POV

After a long train ride we get back to Hogwarts.

I throw my stuff on my bed and run down to the common room.

I see Baylor and Riley standing by the couch.

" Bay! Ry! " I say running to them.

I pick up Riley in a hug and spin her around. When I put her down I jump up and hug Baylor.

" I've missed you two!! " I say taking a step back.

" We've missed you too Bryn! " They say before I run to the great hall to eat.

I sat alone but I didn't really care. Albus, Reya, Scorpius, and Lily all say together laughing.

I walk out of the great hall and go to my first class. Potions.

I walk out of Potions and down the hall to see something I wish I hadn't.

Albus and Alice kissing.

I walk run out of the hall and outside.

Why was I so upset?! I was the one who did this!! I just... Have to get over him.

" Brynlee!! " Albus runs after me grabbing my arm stopping me.

I put on a fake smile. " Yes Albus? "

" I know you saw.... Umm.. " He bit his lip.

" Yeah... I did... " I reply.

" Stop it. " He says.

" What are you talking about? "

" Stop pretending it doesn't bother you!"

I stop my fake smile. " Albus you're right. I don't like this. But you deserve to be happy! Go back to Alice. Date her. I'll be fine! I'll find someone Albus. Don't worry. "

" Brynlee..... I don't want her! I want you! " He says.

" Albus if you kissed her only to make her jealous you're a JERK! "

" I didn't! I do like her... But I LOVE you.... " He says taking my hand in his.

" Albus you better go back to your ' girlfriend' " I say pulling out of his grip and walking away.

He looks behind him to see Alice and he goes to her.

I shake my head and lost in thoughts, I bump into someone.

I look up to see Lysander.

" Oh! Sorry! " I say quickly.

" It's fine. It's my fault. " He smiles.

Has he always been so cute? STOP Brynlee!! You are NOT a boyfriend hopper!

He looks me in the eye.

He starts to lean in.

I quickly turn my head so he kisses me cheek.

" I'm... Sorry! " He say quickly.

" Don't be... It's all my fault... " I say before walking off.

I needed to talk to Albus.

I need him... I don't want to date anyone else.

I run in the Gryffindor common room to see Albus and Alice kissing again.

Really?? He tells me he loves me but he kisses Alice again??

No... Brynlee... You put this on yourself... You broke up with him. You told him to date her no more than 30 minutes ago! He did what you told him to do!

I run up to the girls dormitory to find Reya on her bed.

" Reya! I'm SO SORRY! You were right!
I'm SO stupid!! " I sit by her and a tear goes down my cheek.

She pursed her lips but didn't say anything.

" Reya... I am so so so so so sorry..... I made a stupid decision. Two stupid decisions..... One.. Was fighting with you... Two.... Was breaking up with Albus.... I should've done either of those things.. I'm SO stupid. " I say as more tears roll down my rosy cheeks. " And now... It's too late.... He's dating Alice.... "

"It's okay Brynlee." She says pulling me into a hug "I'm really sorry about Albus, but you let him go. You are going to get back together eventually though, right?"

" I know... And it was a mistake... I realized that. And I hope.... He just seems to really like Ali.... " I say as I hang my head.

"Why would Alice go and kiss him after you just broke up, she knows you are SO not over him!"

" They've kissed twice Reya! He seems to like her.... " I say tucking a piece of hair behind my ear.

"Well did you talk to him? But anyway I'm still wondering why she would do that to you!"

" Yeah... I told him to be happy with her... But when Lysander almost kissed me I realized I was wrong! " I sigh. " I don't want anyone but him Reya. I only want to kiss him. "

Tears go down my now red cheeks.

"I'm sorry Brynlee. Did he say anything else? I think you need to talk to him, like really talk to him. Tell him how you feel! Seriously Bryn, you guys are meant for each other."

" He said he liked her.... But he loved me.... And I guess.... I'll go talk to him now.... Bye Rey... Thanks. "

I hug her and walk out and go to the common room.

" Yes!! YES!! " I hear as I walk into the common room.

What I saw was heartbreaking.

Albus... Asked Alice out... Now... They were kissing....

No Brynlee! This is ALL your fault!! You put this on yourself!! You made this happen! You did this to yourself! You caused your heart ache. If only you hadn't fought with Albus that day... If only I took him back when he wanted to. Now.... It's too late.... I'M too late...

Too late... Albus is happy.....
