Little Sisters

Brynlee's POV

" Oh my gosh!! Reya that's great!! " I smile.

Reya just told me that her mom was pregnant! Ruby must be excited to be a big sister.

" I know right!! " Reya stares at her ring and smiles.

" I'm gonna go check on Riley. If I don't she will end up talking to Ruby, Logan, or Matthew instead of doing her homework! " I laugh walking out of the girls dormitory.

I walk into the warm common and sit by Riley, who was sitting on the couch across from the fire.

" Hey babe! " I smile at Riley and put my arm around her. " How's it going? "

" Am I suppose to say good? " She groans. " Why do we even need potions!! " She throws her arms in the air.

I remove my arm and look her in the eyes. " No one likes potions.. "

" EXACTLY! " She yells.

We look at each other for a second until we both start laughing.

" Ruby's gonna be a big sister... " I whisper.

She looks at me for a moment confused but then her eyes go wide and her mouth drops. " LUCKY! " She laughs.

" You really want to be a big sister? " I ask her.

" Yeeeeeeeeessssss!! " She drags out.

" Riley... No more kids in our house! " I laugh.

" Aww... " She smiles and goes back to her homework.

Really?? Do we need another Anderson?? We don't. Especially if it would be a boy!!!

I stand up and walk out of the common room. I look around to find an empty area. I guess everyone's in their common rooms...

I keep walking, trying to get outside, but I see a boy on a bench. Wait. That's... Albus?

" Hey... Al. What are you doin? " I ask sitting beside him.

" Nothing... Thinking... " He looks at me and turns his head sideways.

" What about? "

" You... " He whispers, leaning in to give me a kiss.

I smile. " Now what were you really thinking about? "

" Is Ruby ok? " He asks.

" Uh.. Yeah.. Why? " I look at him worried.

" I've just seen her sneaking off every now and then... But she runs to the forbidden forest... And.... It's weird you know? "

" Um... Yeah... It is... " I say slowly.

" Do you know why?? Or Reya?? "

" I don't... And I doubt Reya knows.. So I'll tell her ok? " I lie easily. I knew perfectly well Reya knew what was going on. I had suspicions though. Reya told me before Ruby isn't... Isn't exactly normal? Like us she means. And I have a few ideas what that means.

He nods his head. " Ok... "

" Anything else on your mind? " I stare at him. He wasn't really acting normal.

" Yeah... Just... James is acting weird."

" You don't know why? "

" Nope.... "

" Oh. "

" I'm gonna go lay down ok? Professors are going to start patrolling soon. " Albus tells me standing up.
