Apologize

Reya's POV

"Brynlee!!!!" I yell as she falls to the ground. Baylor is yelling at Tyler. Tyler is staring at an unconscious Brynlee, and Kira is screaming at both of them. Thank goodness there was no one else in the tower. Brynlee's eyes start to flutter open. "Everyone just SHUT UP!" I finally scream. Silence fills the room. I look back to my best friend, she's got a huge bruise and a cut just below her eye. "Bryn!" I say anxiously shaking her shoulders

"Wha-?" She says sitting up a little bit

"Oh my gosh, Brynlee I'm SO sorry!" Tyler says coming over and sitting down next to her "Are you okay?" He asks, touching her cheek lightly.

"Don't touch her!" Baylor snarls at him

Tyler glares at him. I help Brynlee up, and over to one of the dark blue couches.

I walk over to the two angry boys "What the heck happened in here?!"

" He punched me!!!" Baylor yelled.

" You started yelling at me! " Tyler yells in defense.

"I thought you guys were going to apologize! Why did you yell at him?!" I ask Baylor.

" Because he started yelling at me about how big of an idiot I was and how much he hated me! "

I walk over to Tyler "Your not making a very good impression so far. Why did you start yelling? You didn't even know what he was going to say!"

" SO?! HE HURT KIRA! " He yells.

Kira was standing away looking down.

"Did he?" I ask her.

She nods slightly

"What did you do!?!" I say turning on my heel to face my boyfriend

"I- I..... We almost left home together, and at the last minute I told her I didn't want to go. I didn't want to leave my family behind. And she thought that I didn't care about her anymore!"

"I'm sorry Baylor, we were so stupid, I mean 16, I didn't know what I was thinking."

"I'm sorry for bailing out, but I couldn't leave my family behind."

"I understand." She says giving him a hug. And then she turns to me "Thanks Reya." She says hugging me

I smile and hug back.

"So Tyler." I say walking away from Kira "Do you forgive him?"

Baylor shrugs and smiles that adorable funny little smile

"Yeah, I guess. Sorry for punching you mate. And you too Brynlee."

She gives him a half-hearted thumbs up

I slump down on the couch next to Brynlee. Gosh, there a handful.

Kira walks over to Baylor. "You hang on to her Bay." She says winking at me "Come on Tyler, Let's go see the black lake." They walk out of the tower, leaving just me, Baylor, and a bruised Brynlee.

Baylor sits down next to me and I rest my head on his shoulder

"I'm sorry I gave you bad advice. I just didn't know the whole story." I lifted my head up and faced him, demanding "Why didn't you tell me the whole story!?"

"I didn't want you to get hurt, were broken up and I love you now, I didn't want you to get the wrong idea."

"Just tell me next time, or I might give bad advice again. Bay you have to tell me these things! I-"

He leans in and brings his lips to mine. I kiss back and he pulls me closer. After a while we break apart. "Well that shut me up." I tell him smiling
