The Pranks Are Just Beginning

Brynlee's POV

" Stop! " I squeal.

" Nope! " Albus laughs.

" Stop tickling me!! " I squirm.

He just smiles and keeps on tickling me.

" Albus Severus Potter! I'm gonna end up kicking or punching you! And it's not gonna be so funny!! " I roll around trying to free myself but I failed.

" You wou- " I cut him off with my leg making contact with his nose. " OW! BRYNLEE! "

" I told you!! I warned you!! " I sit up and move his hands from his face.

His nose was slightly red. " That hurt..."

" I'm sorry... Poor baby... " I kiss him softly. " Better? "

" A little. " He smiles.

I kiss him again and laugh. " Now? "

" All better! "

I smile at his kid like behavior.

Sometimes I wonder about him though...

Riley's POV

" No! Go away! " I say.

" Pleeeeeeeaseee!? "

" No!! Matt stop! " I scold.

" But it's so hard! "

" No it's not! It's very easy! "

" Nuh uh! " He complains.

" Matt it is easy. Stop complaining. "

" If it's so easy why can't you do it for me? "

" Matthew I'm walking away now. " I say walking away slowly.

" C'mon Riley! "

" Bye Matthew! " I laugh, heading for the Gryffindor common room.

" Riley did you finish your homework?" Brynlee asks me.

" Yes mom. " I joke.

She just sticks her tongue out at me and goes back to reading her book.

" Riley! " I hear feet running and I knew I was in trouble.

" Matt, whatever it is NO! " I grab my stuff and put it in my bag.

" You are no fun! " He whines but continues on. " Wanna play a prank on Professor Thomas? " He smirks.

I sigh knowing he knew I couldn't turn that down. " Let's do it. "

" Ok! " He walks to me and tells me the plan.

" Well? " Professor Thomas asks again.

She had just asked if anyone knew how to make... A certain potion that I can't remember the name of.

I raise my hand and smile.

She looks at me confused. " Miss Anderson? "

My job was to distract Professor Thomas while Matthew puts the plan into action.

" I actually have a question. " I tell her.

" Go on. "

I ask a question that was in our last lesson. I remember it taking us a long time to figure it out.

" Oh... Well, " She starts rambling on and on.

After about five minutes of talking and rambling on I hear a loud pop and a burst of light flies past me.

" FIREWORKS!?! " Professor Thomas screeches.

A hand takes mine and a voice whispers in my ear, " C'mon! "

It was Matthew. We run out of the class and into the hallway. We kept hearing laughs, pops, booms, and teachers yelling.

" That was awesome! " Matthew doubles over in laughter.

" Totally amazing! " I agree.

" Riley?! What happened? " Logan and Ruby run over to me. They were both in our class so they knew what happened.

" I-We- " I couldn't finish the sentence because I was laughing so hard.

" She distracted Professor Thomas while I set off the fireworks! " Matthew explains while laughing.

"Oh my gosh!" Ruby exclaimed as a firework shot over her head "That was amazing!"

I just continue laughing a Matthew smiles at me. " It was, wasn't it? "

I look up at him and grin. " Of course. We are an amazing team you know. "

" Yes we are. That's why there are more pranks to come. " He smiles again but this time more mischievously.

Ruby's POV

"Well, I guess class is over!"

Matt and Riley just kept smiling at each other. Hmmm.

"Well, you guys go have some guy time." I say to Logan, pushing him lightly towards Matt. They give me a quizzical look, but walk off down the hall.

"What was that?" Riley asks me

"You" I tell Riley, pointing at her "Have a crush."

" I do not! I only see Matt as a friend! I wish people would stop assuming that! It's annoying! Matt doesn't like me and I don't like him! "

"Okay! Sorry, you know that's my favorite kind of love story though....."

" Yes I know it is... but that's not gonna happen. I don't see Matt like that. " She states.

"Okay, okay. I respect that. But you would be SO cute together!"

She shoots me a glare that clearly says, 'Shut up Rubes...'

I grin big "You gotta admit, you two would be cute together....."

Without warning she bring her fist to my arm pretty hard. " Ruby... " She warns. " Drop it. "

I put my hands above my head in defeat "Okay!"

" Thank you! Now... If you'll excuse me I have to go talk to Brynlee an finish this homework. Later, Rubes! " She waves as she walks away.

"See ya."

Shoot, I thought I was right about Riley and Matt.

Reya's POV

"Scorpius."

He kept scribbling

I poked his arm "Scorpius."

He kept writing, every once and a while he would glance at his textbook, to continue writing seconds later.

"Whatcha doin?" I ask scooting closer to peer over at his paper. He looked up for a second, kissed me, then answered "Homework, half of my muggle studies grade."

"So that's why your working so hard. How's it coming?"

"Terrible. He's teaching us about World War II, why do we need to know this? This is muggle history!"

I smiled "Need help?"

"Please!"
