Chapter 13

Your POV

    It's been a couple months and we're half way through June. To be exact it's been three months since me and Dinah has been dating. Dinah's birthday is in two weeks. She says she doesn't want to do anything but that's my baby and I do everything big. But along with Dinah's birthday the closest thing that's coming up is the family reunion. I told Normani that I would only be coming for her because she asked me too.  The only thing is that I don't want to see my "family" mainly my parents.
      Right now I'm in the studio recording another song for my album. I'm recording my part on the song with Kodie Shane.

"Baby, I been working so hard just to get your attention
Your ex-boy mad, yeah I can feel the tension
I guess if he really ain't talking direct
Then he didn't really mention

      The beat stops and open my eyes and look at the producer. "Why'd you stop?" He points towards a pissed Dinah. I walk out the booth and go to her about to hug her. SLAP!  I turn my face towards her and August comes and stands between us. She starts crying. "How could you cheat on me!? And a couple of weeks before my birthday are you serious!? What happened to 'your the only one I want.' Or 'I promise that I won't hurt you and you can trust me.' But I obviously can't. I put my all into this relationship and I thought you did the same but I guess not. Don't ever talk to me again and I mean it." And with that she walked out the room not letting me give an explanation.
"How gone cheat on ha man?" "The thing is I didn't. I didn't go to no club I didn't get with no girl I don't even know what she was talking about."
     Nicki comes in the room looking pissed as well. "You mean to tell me I helped you to get the girl that you was crying about just to cheat on her with Ariana Grande?" "Who told you that? I've only met her one time in my life. I've haven't hung out with her ever. I've been spending my time with Kodie writing this song." "That's not what every other magazine says. There's pictures of you guys everywhere."
     She shows me the pictures and I can't believe it. There's the picture of the moment that I hoped no one would catch. When me and Ariana bumped into each other and we accidentally kissed. "Bro we didn't even kiss. I mean we didn't mean to kiss it was by accident. We both were on our phones and bumped into each other. I caught her before she fell and that was the end result. I wouldn't cheat on Dinah. Especially not before her birthday." I sit down on the couch and put face in my hands and start crying silently.
"You gotta tell ha bruh. If that's the truth and I believe ya you gotta tell ha. I know you love ha so you gotta get ha back. I only seen you at your happiest when ya wit' ha." I nod my head. "So what you gonna do?" "Get her to come to my next concert. I got a plan but she has to be on stage." "Got ya Brodie"

Dinah POV

     I can't believe her. She told me that she would never hurt me. She promised me that I could trust her. She told me that I could trust her with my heart and I did just for her to break it in two.
"Cheechee? Don't cry over her. She's not worth your tears if she had the nerve to cheat on you in public like that." "But I loved her Mila. I can't believe that she cheated on me. What did I do? Nela cheated on me with a girl skinnier than me and now Y/N did too! What do I have to lose weight to keep somebody?" I break down in sobs not being able to contain them anymore. Camila came and she hugged me pulling me down to lay on the bed. "Dinah, your perfect exactly the way you are. They don't deserve your time they cheated and treated a perfect girl badly. I know that there is someone out there that will love you for the way that you are. You don't need to change anything about you because everyone else loves you for you." "Thank you Chancho."
"But I don't think that Y/N cheated on you. I think it's either photoshopped or something happened because you guys were fine not the other day. And better yet yesterday." "That's what she wants you to think. She played with my feelings before so I bet she would cheat on me."
      And with that she didn't say anything and started playing with my hair. Thinking about what Camila said it's sort of true, but I just can't bring myself to forgive her. And with that I fell asleep.
"Y/N she doesn't want to see you! You cheated on her do you really think that she wants to see you" I hear Lauren yell. "For the last time I didn't cheat on her. But believe what you want. If y'all truly believe that I would purposely cheat on her then go ahead. You guys are all about not wanting to believe what the media says but when I want to tell you the truth y'all would rather believe the media. I'm out of here. At least let her know that I tried to explain and get her back." And with that I heard the door open and slam shut.
     I get out of bed and make my way down the stairs to see Lauren, Mila, and Ally looking shocked and Normani staring at them. "You guys really believe that she kissed Ariana?" "Yeah the pictures are there they aren't photoshopped." "She doesn't even know Ariana like that for her to kiss her. Like she said it had to be and accident." Normani says. "Why are you trying to play captain save a cousin? She already told Dinah that she wasn't the one she wanted in the first place so why wouldn't she cheat on her?" Lauren says. "I'm not playing anything! Whether or not if she was my cousin I still would take up for her! I know enough to know that she spends most of her day talking about Dinah. All she does is talk about Dinah and how she wants to prove to her that she loves her. She was planning on doing something special for Dinah to get her back after all this went down and now I bet she's not going to do it now because you guys are keeping Dinah from her. I bet you guys aren't even gonna tell her that she was here." "You don't have to tell me. You woke me up with all the  your yelling." There was a knock at the door. I walk to the door and opened it seeing the last two people that I wanted to see.
