Not What I Expected (Dinah/You)

Chapter 23

Y/N POV

      This is the only time that I've ever seen Dinah so calm. She walks up to Melanie and holds out her hand. "Hi I'm Dinah Jane, Y/N's girlfriend." Melanie shakes her hand. "I'm Melanie, Cheylise's mother." "Oh I know I've heard about you. Oh and you got a nerve to call yourself a mother. Your more worried about sliding up and down on a pole and shaking your behind rather than taking of your own kid. I take care of her more than you do. I feed, bathe, dress, care, and play with her like a REAL mother would." She said in a calm voice which was scary. "I do take care of MY daughter." "Last time we all checked Y/N told us that she paid for everything since she was born. She took care of the both of y'all." Normani said matter of factly. "Ain't nobody ask you, you burnt piece of chocolate." Melanie said. I seen Normani charge for her and I grab her before she could get to her. "Melanie go take your ass in the damn car. This is why I told you to stay in the car. Always starting shit with somebody." She glared at me and walked out the door of course not even saying anything to Cheylise. But she's the one that wanted to see her. 
"You impregnated that?" Camila questioned. "I was drunk. She was cute. Didn't think much of it." "Yeah 'was' is the word. She's not cute." Ally mumbles. "Damn she made Allysin come out." Lauren and Normani said. "That's Melanie?" Dinah says. "Yeah." "And you brought her in here?" "Oh shit. She better run." I hear Lauren whisper. "She followed me in here I told her to stay in the car." I say. She walks towards me and grabs one of my hands. "Well take her home and come back because one you are not bringing Cheylise with her. Two Cheylise is tired and ready for her 2:30 nap. Three, we have a lot to talk about when you come back okay?" I just nod my head and go to peck her lips but she turns and I end up kissing her cheek. I sigh and make my way to the door and heading outside to my car. I get in the car and put my seatbelt on and start the car. "So your just going to tell my business to everyone making me look like the bad guy?" Melanie says.
      I swear she is dumber than a sack of rocks. I look at her like she has 10,000 heads. She needs to have dumbass written across her forehead. "Firstly, that is my girlfriend I had to tell her that I had a kid and the reason why I had to take her from her mother. Two the girl you called a 'burnt piece of chocolate' is my cousin and I tell her everything. And they had every right to say what they said because it's all true! Trying to act brand new. Your the one that told me that you wanted me to take her." "You got your girl playing mommy to my child!?" "Damn right because you wasn't trying to act like a mother. All you care about is getting dick and shaking your ass. You ain't fit to be a mother. If you wasn't my daughter's mother I wouldn't be dealing with you. And if you wasn't my daughter's mother I would've beat your ass for disrespecting my cousin."
      I park in front of the McDonald's and hand her twenty dollars out my pocket and hand it to her. "You can walk or take the bus back to your house because I got to spend time with my daughter."  She sucks her teeth and takes the money and gets out. Once I see her walk into McDonald's I pull off back to the girls house. Once I'm parked in front of the girls house I put my hands and a praying position and start praying. "Dear god I know I don't talk to you much but I know I'm going to need you now more than ever. You gave me one crazy female that I call my girlfriend. You know what they say because you came up with it. The females that are the calmest in a serious situation are the crazy ones and that's how she was not that long ago. She was scaring me so I ask of you to watch over me as I deal with the most gorgeous female that you've created beside myself. Amen."
      With that I get out the car and walk through the door. I walk into the living room and only see the girls sitting on the couch staring at me. I go to sit next to Dinah but she points to the chair that is sitting in the middle of the room. So they're putting me on the hot seat? I sit in the chair waiting for one of them to speak. It was a good few minutes before one of the Ally decided to speak. "Why was she with you?" I sigh. "She came to my house looking to see Cheylise. And like I said she does have a right to see her because she is her mother regardless or not if she acts like it." "So why did she come with you here if she went to your house?" Camila said. "Because I told her that she wasn't there and that I had to pick her up." Dinah chuckles right after I said that. "So you brought her along with you to our house?" Normani says. Gosh are we playing 21 questions? "She hopped in the car I couldn't just push her out the car." "You should've." I hear Dinah mumble. "Yeah just so she could get her because I'm in jail? She wouldn't go to you because Melanie isn't going to give her rights to you." I state. "My main question right now is why does she know where you live if you never told her?" I bow my head. I knew this was probably going to come up.
      What Dinah doesn't know is that I've been spending time with Melanie just to see why she doesn't want Cheylise. I mean any other parent would want to know why the other parent doesn't want to be part of their child's life. "Because me and her have been talking. I invited her over to talk to her." With that Dinah gets up and walks over to me. She sits on my lap and starts to caress my face. I told you she was crazy. What girlfriend does this type of stuff after hearing what I just told her? God I hope you have my back. I look around the room and see all the girls eyes on us. She grabs my chin and makes me face her. I gulp and she speaks. "I'm going to ask you once and only once so you only have one shot to tell me the truth. If not then you can take Cheylise and leave out that door and never talk to me again. I wouldn't want anything to do to you if you lie to me. Got it?" She looks right into my eyes and I nod my head scared. "Did you have sex with her?" Her eyes not leaving mine. "No Dinah. I just talked to her about why she didn't want Cheylise." She stares in my eyes and then gets up.
      She makes her way to the couch and sits on it. Me and the rest of he girls just stare at her. "What?" Dinah says after five minutes. We all shake our heads. I get up and go up stairs and get Chey from Dinah's room and pick up her bag that's by the door. I make my back downstairs I wave bye to the girls and make my way to my car. I put Cheylise in her car seat and place her bag on the floor. I got to the drivers seat and get in. What the hell just happened?

Dinah's POV

"Dinah what was that?" Lauren questions.  "Nothing just had to ask her some stuff and figure some stuff out." I state. "Well do you believe her?" Mani asks. "Yeah I do." "Well are you gonna tell her because you guys are my OTP and I'm captain of S.S.Y/S/N  and it looks like it's heading for an iceberg." Camila says. "Hey I'm captain, that's my cousin." Mani whines. "I don't know I just need some time." "For what? She told you the truth." Normani says. "I just came face to face with the mother of her child. Then on top every time she would bring Cheylise here she would go and talk to her baby mama rather than spend time with me and her daughter. That's a lot to take in." I say back.
"Guys, Dinah's right. It is a lot to take in. We all just got to meet the woman that gave birth to the little girl that we all adore. And it's more on her because well that's her girlfriends baby mother. And what Y/N was doing behind Dinah's back was wrong. We can't get mad at her for feeling the way she does." Everyone silently agrees. "So what are you going to do?" Normani questions. "I don't know." I put my head down and start playing with my fingers.
