Not What I Expected (Dinah/You)

Chapter 16

Dinah POV
    
"Di Di Di Di Di." "No Mamas Di-nah" "Di Di Di Di Di Di!" "Okay fine its Di. Your like your mama." " Who's like their mama?" I look back and I see Y/N looking fine as hell.

     She was looking so good in that outfit I swear it's my favorite one out of all of them. Well except her home outfit that consists of her in just her sports bra and her gray sweatpants that shows her dick print that's to die for. Gosh I swear that's the -- "Earth to Dinah!" She says as she snaps her fingers in my face and smirks. "Well damn I knew I looked good but I didn't know I looked that good." She laughs and pecks my lips and takes Chey from my grasp. "Mamas baby is looking cute today. Even better looking than your Miami." Cheylise laughs her adorable laugh and places her hands on Y/N's cheeks.
      Melanie gave up on watching this little girl grow. Just in the past couple days I've fell in love with her. She's so smart and cute. She's definitely a mixture of both her parents just by her features. She has Y/N's lips and nose and has Melanie's everything else I'm guessing. She lightens up Y/N's and everyone else's day when she's around them. "Roro?" "No baby no see Roro today. We go see Auntie Mani and I's family." Yeah you heard her right.
     Today is the day of the family reunion and to say that Y/N is nervous is an understatement. Just earlier she had a panic attack worrying about seeing her family.  We are at the hotel getting ready to go and  Y/N being the last one ready we had to wait on her.
"Baby Chey!" We hear Mani yell. Cheylise starts to squeal and laugh causing me and Y/N to laugh. "Mani!" She bounces up and down in    Y/N arms reaching out to Mani. She quickly takes her kissing all over her face causing Cheylise to start screaming. She takes them in the living room part of the hotel room seeing as Y/N still needs to put on her shoes. She sits on the bed and puts on her Tims. I stare at her. She so gorgeous she doesn't even know it. Her not so chinky eyes and her small adorable nose. Her ever so soft skin and her plump pink lips. She looks up at me and smiles. "Do you have a grill on? And when did you get it?" She nods her head " A couple of days ago. Before we got here. I got it so they know when I talk the money talks." I laugh. "Baby take it out. Your going to a family reunion not a meeting with management or a party. Your not going there to flash your money. Your there to see the family that you never got to see." She nods and takes them out.
     She stands up and pulls out her phone and goes on what I'm assuming is Snapchat because she starts speaking. "Look at me. Ya girl looking good today. And look at my baby matching my fly. Damn girl you look good." She double taps the screen and I cross my leg over the other and do a duck face. She laughs and I get up walking to her. She goes to start another video. She goes to talk but I pull her in into a kiss. She kisses back and places her hand on my backside gripping it. She pulls back from the kiss and smiles. The video stops and she looks at it and posts it. I pose by placing my hand on her shoulder facing behind her and looking back and doing a duck face. She snaps the picture and I move as she walks out the door as I follow behind her trying to see the caption.

     I slap her shoulder and she laughs. She grabs her car keys and we notice Mani and Cheylise laying on the floor having a conversation. "Bababab mama n Di Danana." "Oh really well I sure will talk to them about that." Me and Y/N laugh at the two. "Come on guys. The quicker we get there the quicker we could leave." "Stop thinking like that. Everyone misses you and their happy that they get to see you in person instead of on the tv." "Great they know I'm coming. They probably told the non parents that I was coming too. Yay." She says sarcastically. She heads for the door and walks out making sure to grab the room key. Me, Normani, and Chey left the room following her out.

          Once we get to the open field we see some of Normani relatives well Y/N's too. I see a boy and a girl that look a little like Y/N. I wonder if those are her siblings. I think she noticed too because she was staring at them. "I told you Mani. Since everybody knows that I would be here they would show up. Y'all can go I'm staying in the car. Just leave my daughter here." I grab her hand and make her look at me. "Baby I'm right here. I'll be right by your side. If you need anything I'm right here." "Fine. Let's get this over with. I'm giving it an hour." Me and Normani both nod our head knowing we couldn't talk her out of it as we get out the car, Normani getting Chey out the back.
      Once everyone is out she locks the doors and Mani hands her Chey. She grabs my hand and we follow Normani. "Maaaa!" We walk up to mama Drea and Normani hugs her. As Y/N walks closer I can see her start to tear up. "Auntie Drea?" Y/N hands me Chey and walks closer to her. Mama Drea open her arms wide open and Y/N runs into them crying. I can hear her start to cry and it slowly turning into sobs. "I missed you too baby girl. We've all missed you. I've never stopped looking for you. I had hope and prayed that you were good and now I see that you are I'm proud of you." Mama Drea kisses the top of her head. By now her family had circled around the two. "Mama! Mama!" "Shhh baby." Y/N lifts her head up and looks up at the both of us. Cheylise pouts once she sees her mother's face.
       Y/N walks over to us and takes Cheylise from me and grabs my hand. She walks towards Mama Drea and I let go of her hand and hug her. "Auntie Drea this is Cheylise, my daughter. Chey baby this is our Auntie Drea." Y/N introduces "Drea!" Everyone laughs. "She's beautiful just like her mother." Y/N sees someone and smiles. "Uncle Ray!" She gives Mama Drea Cheylise and run towards the older man.
"So you and Y/N huh? Y'all do make a cute couple. But I know damn well that this ain't yall's baby." Me and Normani laugh while shaking our heads. "No mama Drea. She should tell you how this little princess got here. And plus I'm too young for kids. We haven't gotten to that level yet either." She nods her head. "Everyone misses her. You can tell that she misses them too."
         I watch as she interacts with each person here. She has on a smile that reaches her eyes. That's how I know she's the happiest right now. I've never seen her carry that type of smile on her face unless she's playing with Chey and me. She hugs everyone so tight. Seeming like she doesn't want to let them go. She points at me and smiles and I blow her a kiss. She bites her lip and it was the most sexiest thing ever. She's perfect. I see two people walk up to her and I see her whole demeanor change. They look younger than her. "Mami!" I look at Cheylise and see her reaching for me. This is the first time that she has called me something other than Di. I smile widely and I take her putting her down so she can walk. Y/N wants her to stop getting carried start to walk since she knows how to. I grab her hand we slowly walk towards Y/N. " We're still your siblings Y/N." " Yeah and your gonna tell me that the two people that raised you two are my parents? That's funny."
"Baby you okay?" She looks at me. She wraps her arm around my waist bringing me closer. "Baby this Ayana and Gabriel, Yana and Gabe this is Dinah my girlfriend. They're my brother and sister." I shake both of their hands.  They look down at Cheylise. "Is that our niece?" "No that's my daughter." "Why can't you forgive us well at least me. I didn't do anything." "Exactly. You guys didn't do anything. You guys could've stopped them from kicking me out but yet y'all just sat there and watched. And Gabe I don't want to hear nothing from you. What you did was something I would never do to you. Not even  family."
     Their uncle, who I'm assuming, walked in between the three.
"You guys need to calm down. And not do this here." "Ray let them do it. They need to talk it out some day. We're not losing Y/N again because of another argument." An elder woman who I'm also assuming is their grandmother said.
"Oh really what was that?" "Oh you don't remember? Well let me remind you what you did. Let's see you denied to everyone in high school that you was my sibling two months after I got kicked out. Next you started bullying me along with your little football team of friends about me having a dick. Oh and lastly I know your bitch ass was the one that helped your parents pack my shit! Do you remember what you did now!?" At this point she was furious. Normani came to take Chey away from me as she started crying hearing her mother start to yell.
