*Several Months later*
I haven't meet Lucinda parents at all and I still haven't figured things out right..I mean I know where I want to be in life and that's wrapped around Lucinda's arms but I also wanted to do something.Become someone in life..But it was hard for a guy like me.I was saving up money to buy a house for me and Lucinda but I couldn't.I was just too focus on the drugs so I kept buying them.I consumed drugs day after day.My ribs healed over time but it would had healed better if I would had taken the medicine but I never took them once..Lucinda and drugs was all I was think off 24/7.. "Jex you ready?" Asked Husky as he loaded his car with the drugs I was about to deliver "Yeah" I said as I hoped on and drove off.I was driving fine until I was pulled over by the cops.Great!.."License?" The police asked,I than reached over to my pocket but I didn't have it.Fuck I must had forgot it at home. "I don't have one" I said "Sir get off the car" The officer order,Fuck fuck fuck!!Am in trouble.I than gently got off and like always they started checking the car and let's just say they found my gun and the drugs..
•Lucinda P.O.V•
I wasn't feeling good,My head was a bit heavy and my stomach kept doing backflips on a full stomach and that wasn't good..But than again it must had been from all the alcohol I drinked yesterday with Jack..I was minding my own business in the tea room when I got a call
"Hello?" I asked "Lucinda babe it's me Jex,Can you please please please come and get me?" Jex begged "What the hell did you do now?" I whispered as my mom looked at me weirdly "Just come get me,Am at the same place as last time" He said as he hanged up.I huff and took off.."Jack I need a ride" I said as I dial Jack..He later than came for me. "What did he do now?" Jack asked "I dont know" I said.Jex Better have a good explanation..When we arrived the officer told me everything.This time it was all different.Money couldn't bail him out,Only a good ass lawyer but other than that,Even a layer wasn't going to help him..The officer than gave me five minutes to talk to him. "What the heck Jex!" I yelled as I entered his cell "Get me out please" He begged "Will your going to have to wait,Money isn't going to get you out this time" I said "What are they charging me with?" Jex asked "I don't know maybe it has something to do with drugs you had!" I yelled "Don't get mad please" Jex whispered "Huh,They were going to charge you for the gun too but since you had the papers with permission thanks to me they left you off the hook for that one but the amount you had of drugs is a problem" I whispered "It was only 16 pounds of weed!" He yelled "That's still a lot Jex,And I believe not even a good ass lawyer is going to be able to bail you out" I sadly say "No Lucinda don't leave me here please don't" He cried "I'll do what I can" I said as I hugged him tight..Than my five minutes was over,I head out and singed some papers and paid things Jex has owned ,Like the tickets he owned and other light tickets..Jack took me back home where I asked my father for help..
"Dad,I need your help" I cried as I walked in his office "What's wrong?" He asked as he turned his attention to me "M-my boyfriend in jail and I need your h-Help" I cried more "What can I help you with Luci?" He asked I than told him I needed a good lawyer,To bail him out,And of course I told him that he was selling drugs.My dad wasn't surprise but he also did help me,He got two good lawyers to help me..
*Days Later*
Today was Jex court day,And I was nervous.Today things can go right or they can go bad.I got ready and than took off with my dad.I know I know,What your thinking..'Omg your dad is going!' but yeah he is.He surprisedly is helping me..When we got to the court I saw Jex wearing a all orange uniform,He looked sad and miserable but once he saw me he flashed the brightest smile of all times..I smiled back and sat aback of him..I than let the lawyers do what they do..
"What is the case here?" asked the judge "My opponent here was caught illegally selling drugs" Spoke the lawyer my father had hire
"What kind?" Asked the judge "Weed" The lawyer said..It than began with all these rules and all these laws he had broke but I fixed all that with money.The only thing killing him was from the drugs he had."Where did you get these drugs?" Asked the judge to Jex "I don't know" Jex said.Why doesn't he just say it? "He isn't making things easy" My dad whispered to me.Jex didn't say anything about husky or any other stuff. "We have a decision!" The judge yelled as he hit the stick thingy he had against the table..This was it.The final decision.
"Due to the permission you had for the gun,That Took away 2 more years that was going to be added to your jail years.So now your left with 5 years of jail" The judge announced..I could see tears on Jex eyes.I was shaking..Shaking in fear,Tears were running down my face faster and faster.My dad has pulled me for a hug but that wasn't enough to calm me down..I needed Jex!!I want him here with me!! "Take him away!" The judge ordered.."I LOVE YOU LUCINDA!!" He yelled as he fought back the police that were holding him still,I couldn't say nothing.No words could escape my mouth.All I felt were these tears running down my face.My whole body felt numb and my vision was getting blurrier and blurrier as I saw Jex fight back to the police.He Didn't let the police touch him. "PLESE DONT FORGET ME LUCINDA!" He yelled from the top of his lung as the police took him away.My heart suddenly broke into millions of pieces..I didn't know what i was doing but I was angry!Angry at everyone for not helping him harder!!I pushed my dad back and ran off.I began running through the streets with my heart in millions of pieces and my vision blurry..I than stopped at this tree and I just began punching it so hard my knuckles began bleeding..I hated the world so much at this moment..It was all just falling apart slowly..Jex was right.Forever is a short period of time..
