Frowning, I stared at the tile floor. Waiting felt like forever but I guess it's because I didn't want to be here that much in the first place. Basically, the interview will just be about the talk of us being together, nothing about competing.

The room was full of voices of different volumes and gender. Both genders of people were rushing as they were getting things ready to do a hour interview. To be honest, it seemed like a lot of prep just for one short hour.

"Mr. Nikiforov, Katsuki, we're ready to start whenever you are." A lady called across the waiting room. Victor and I followed the lady to the interview room.

The room was surrounded by bright lights and people talking to each other. The lady told us where to sit and where to look.

Before long, I was behind the camera with Victor only minutes from starting. Because I came back to reality, my senses started to get the best of me. I couldn't stop bouncing my leg from the nervousness that started building up inside.

People kept coming over, fixing my hair and touching up on my face. Victor seemed to enjoy it, but it was a little weird for me. The moment was overlooked by seeing how much Victor was enjoying it.

People putting blobs of stuff on your face and playing with your hair, it wasn't really my thing. I rather have stayed the way I looked but they wouldn't let me have it my way no matter how many times I asked.

"Is everybody ready?" The same lady who helped us earlier asked. I noticed Victor looking at me, pretty much silently asking me if I was ready. I nodded and everything started.

Halfway through the interview my nerves went away and I started to act more natural. We were almost done, the interviewer had one last question before we were able to wrap it up.

"So, fans are going crazy over the new rumor of the two of us dating. Could you tell us more about that?" The man asked, as he gave me a smile. I guess he wanted me to answer? But there was literally nothing to say since it's not even true.

Though it was my question, Victor decided to take it for me. "There's not much to say, to be honest. We're just like everybody else, wanting to keep it private as possible." I nodded, just to agree since there was nothing I could think of to add to it.

"Aww, I wanted to ask you guys more about it. But, if you want to keep it private we'll just keep it to that it is true that you guys are dating, yeah?" Victor nervously laughed as we looked at each other. We were the only ones that knew, it felt so weird. "Well, that sums up our interview!" The interview wrapped it up with a goodbye and sent us on our way.

On the way home was quiet, Victor and I barely said a word as we drove all the way home. The silence was so long, I decided to break it.

"Victor? Can we perhaps go somewhere to eat, just the two of us?" I played with my fingers, for some reason they were the most interesting thing to look at as well.

You could see the sparkle in his eyes as he listened. "Really?! You're asking me out to dinner? I'm so happy!" He sung as he kept his eyes on the road ahead. I knew he was excited but the singing made me lower my excitement.

"I-I didn't mean like a date." That sparkle somehow dimmed and I hated his sad expression. Even though it was an exaggerated face, hence the pouting with his bottom lip sticking out it still made me sad as well.
Knowing that I gave him false hope made me feel a little guilty to where I felt a knot in my stomach. I felt that I needed to make him happy, so I decided to give in. "But I guess, if you want it to be then it can be a date."

"A date with Yuri? Yay!" A date, yeah, why did I go along?
