Narine's P.O.V

It was now Monday. Time for school.. Yesterday I ignored everyone and just laid in my bed. I wasn't sure what to do at all, I just wanted to be alone. My mother still wasn't home, I'm guessing she just went on a business trip or some shit. She never tells me anything, all she does is work,work,work. And now I was responsible for my little sister at the moment, so I had to wake up extra early.

I picked up my phone, which laid untouched all day yesterday. It was 6:00am. School starts at 8:00 for me but 7:40 for my sister, I still had plenty of time.

I had a lot of missed calls from Jessica, Julia, Iqra and Tony.

"If I see you dating Tony or anyone else again I swear I will break your neck."

Adam's words rang continuously over and over in my mind. I honestly don't know what to do.

I walked over to my little sister's room to check on her. To my surprise, she was already awake as soon as I opened the door.

"Daisy! What are you doing awake at this time?" I asked my 5 year old sister, who seemed to be playing with her dolls.

"Oh hi Narine! I'm just playing with the dollies. I'm not tired. I'm too excited for school!" She cheerfully screamed at me.

"Woah woah, calm down. How about, you clean up your toys and then brush your teeth and get ready? After we're both ready we can go to deli for breakfast. How does that sound?" I asked, trying to be cheerful along with her.

"Oh ok! Yay!" She got up and danced around while I laughed. I walked out her room and into the bathroom. Just then, my phone buzzed. It was a text from Jessica.

Jessica: NARINE KOLALEVA. WOMAN. Answer!

Me: Whaaaaaat.

Jessica: UR ALIVE! Where the hell have you been all day yesterday?

Me: I was just tired, I wanted to be alone..

Jessica: Tony told me what happened. As soon as I get to school, you better explain.

Me: School? Wait ur goin?

Jessica: Yeah. I decided to, why not? Lina and Mila are already suspended so I guess I'll go.

Me: Good good.

Jessica: I expect a explaination when I come.

Me: Yeah, yeah k bye. Gtg drop Daisy to school.

I have no idea what I'm supposed to tell Jessica. I have no clue how to explain it. Anyways, forget that. I should get ready. My mind was so messed up at the moment, it's like my brain has too many tabs open.

After about 30 minutes I was ready. Not in the mood to be fashionable, so I threw on a regular hoodie and jeans, straightened my hair and put eyeliner and mascara. I also covered most of the bruises I had, Thank you God for makeup. It was nearly 7 so Daisy and I headed to the deli down the street, near her school.

My appetite was gone. I bought Daisy whatever she wanted and just drank coffee. Ugh. I can't get either Adam or Tony out of my head. I pulled out my phone and stared at a picture of Tony and I. We were holding hands and making silly faces. I miss him. Yeah yeah, it's been only a day but to be honest, Tony is like my happiness. I can't really even go a day without talking to him, it's shocking how I pulled it off yesterday. I just stared at him in the photo. Millions of thoughts ran in my mind.
