"So are they like, a thing now?" Mike asked for the millionth time. I sighed as Vic took a sip of his coke in aggravation. Mike still wouldn't accept the fact that Rory and Julia have been dating since April.

It's June now.

School ends in nearly a week and I hope we all can make it through.

"Yes,Mike. For the zillionth time, they ARE a thing. Since April," Tony replied, frustrated.

"Oh," Mike whispered. I leaned besides him and held his shoulder. He looked up at me and replied, "I'm okay."

Vic,Mike,Tony,Narine,Jaime,Iqra and I were sitting at the Deli after school as Mike spotted Julia and Rory across the street,through the window. They were about to enter Rory's car until from the corner of her eye,Julia caught us all staring. She poked Rory and began to speak to him,then pointed towards the deli. As Rory turned, I slightly turned away and the others followed. After turning back, Julia seemed to ask Rory a question, in which he responded with a nod. She began to cheerfully walk across the street until Rory pulled her arm, narrowing his eyes and he mumbled something. Julia flinched away and scoffed. Then, they both headed towards here. Jaime took a bite of his sandwich and mumbled, "Great, he's comin' here."

"Hey guys!" Julia cheerfully greeted. Honestly, I haven't seen her this happy in so long. Julia is rough with guys. A tease at most. I remember when we were younger and she had always said, "I'll never get a boyfriend!"

Well, look who's talking now.

We all knew Julia was going to get an amazing boyfriend...but we expected it to be...Mike. Never in our life, we would imagine it to be Rory, the enemy's stepbrother. I'm still pretty happy for Julia, the others are a bit disappointed. Its hard to watch Mike look at Julia with pain in his eyes. Yet, he fakes a smile. I know he's lying. He isn't the same.

"...Hey." Everyone but Mike replied.

"Hello," Mike grumbled. I watched as Mike and Julia's eyes locked, and stayed like that for awhile. Until, Rory cleared his throat and Julia flinched.

"Anyways. We're here to invite you all-Including the Fuentes assholes to my party on the Friday night after school ends," Rory said and Mike and Vic narrowed their eyes.

"Fucktard." Vic mumbled under his breath.

"What was that?" Rory asked through clenched teeth.

"We're not gonna go." Mike rolled his eyes.

"Well,that's settled-See Julia they refused whoops let's go now," Rory grabbed Julia's arm and was nearly about to dash out until Julia pulled him back, eyeing him.

As I said before, Julia is the Queen of stares.

Rory groaned and I rolled my eyes,sighing.

"Gee, why won't you guys come? It'll be fun!!!" Rory sarcastically pretended to be enthusiastic. We all remained silent and Julia have everyone a stare.

"There will be food?" Rory continued to find ways for us to attend.

Everyone remained silent yet Iqra's head perked up. "FOOD!" She squealed until Narine hit her head.

"Alcohol?"

That's when Jaime perked up.

"Alcohol?" Vic scoffed. "Last time I checked, you're 17. You're underaged."

"Geez, Fuentes don't be such a spazz. I know people alright?" Rory snapped.

Mike rolled his eyes and huffed, crossing his arms.

Iqra cleared her throat and asked,"...Well, is there going to be some of yo' jock hottie-I mean, um. Friends gonna be there?" Both Jaime and Rory widened their eyes and stared at Iqra.

"What?!" Jaime exclaimed,waving his arms in the air.

Iqra scoffed,"Don't pretend you don't even check out the cheerleaders,Preciado. I see you taking a peek of their asses."

"Do not!" Jaime protested.

"Do too!" Iqra proclaimed and stuck out her tongue.

Rory came out clear and blurted out,"Jesus Christ! the only reason I'm asking you guys to come to my party is because Julia said she'll give me something special." The way Rory said it, the form, I knew a ton of dirty jokes were going to come from my friends mouths. I sighed as Iqra opened her mouth, "Oh, planning to lose your v-card?" and winked.

Rory cleared his throat,"She already did,actually."

Mike nearly choked on his food and we all widened our eyes. Julia punched Rory's arm and Narine exclaimed,"You had sex?!" Everyone in deli soon had their eyes on us and I hit Narine's shoulder. "Did you use a condom?" Iqra asked. I exhaled, obviously Iqra would be the only one to ask that regardless.

Julia's eyes danced around and she mumbled,"Yes, we had sex. Can we please get back on topic? The party?"

"We'll go," Iqra and Jaime said in unison. Vic and Mike gave stares to them and Jaime scoffed. "Why not? There's going to be alcohol-"

"-And free food!" Iqra continued. I rolled my eyes, of course they would both want to go just for the food.

Narine sighed,"Why don't we all just go-for Julia's sake?"

"I'm in," Tony replied. I saw a sign of relief in Julia's facial expression.

"I guess we'll come,too." Vic said,eyeing me.

Everyone turned to Mike,waiting for his response.

He mumbled,"I don't know yet," and eyed Julia.

"C'mon Mike,please?" Julia asked.

Vic raised his eyebrows and scoffed,"Says the one who brutally broke my brother's heart. Since when do you want Mike's company? Mike will go if he wants to, and if he chooses not to, I support his decision."

I turned to Julia and I could see the emptiness and hurt in her expression. Yet, that confused me. It was Julia's decision to be with Rory...

"Alright. Rory and I will be going now," Julia muttered and waved goodbye as her and Rory walked out the deli.

Mike slouched in his chair and dug his face in his palms. He groaned,"I honestly don't know what to do. I still love her,guys. Was there really nothing there? This whole time? The smiles,the laughs,the glances, everything. I mean did you see how she still looks at me? She gives me those eyes, fucking mesmerizing, taking me in again and again. I can't come to face the fact that all this little things were nothing. I may be stupid sometimes, but I'm not this stupid. I fell for her, thinking she loved me too."

He grabbed his bag in anger and stood up. Before leaving Mike muttered,

"I can't forget,guys. I can't."
