Y/N ran a hand through her hair, groaning in frustration as she couldn't find the keys to her younger sister's apartment.

Suddenly, she remembered that her sister always left a spare key under the doormat because she was as forgetful as her bigger sister.

Taking a deep breath, Y/N slowly opened the door. She wasn't sure if she was ready to tell her sister the big news today; she was one month pregnant with her fiancé's child, but she  hadn't told him yet, wanting to speak to her sister first.

Smiling slightly to herself, Y/N walked into the living room were she assumed her sister would be, watching one of her TV shows'.

She closed her eyes for a moment, placing her hand on her stomach before opening her eyes again to be greeted with a horrible sight.

Her fiancé, Novak, was sitting on the couch, kissing her sister and they both seemed to enjoy it very much.

A few tears clouded Y/N's eyes as she put her head in her hands, sobbing quietly, making the two finally notice her.

"Y/N," Her sister started, but she lifted her hand to stop her from talking.

"I don't want to talk to you ever again," She stated before turning towards Novak.

"How can you do this to me?" She questioned, her voice nearly breaking at the end. She was feeling far too sad and disappointed to shout at him.

"I'm sorry, Y/N, I really am, but I don't love you anymore, I love her," He replied, breaking his fiancée's heart into a thousand of pieces'.

"I can't believe you are saying this." She whispered, shaking her head and quickly removing the engagement ring from her finger, placing it on the table in front of her.

"I hope you two will be happy together." She spat out, glaring at both of them for a last time before turning around with countless tears running down her cheeks.

Four years. Y/N couldn't believe that it has already been that long since the worst day of her life. What was even more unbelievable is that today she would have to attend her sister's wedding with no one else, but her ex-fiancé.

Y/N combed through her hair carefully one last time before looking at her three year old daughter, who completely reminded her of Novak.

After getting her daughter out of the car, she slowly walked towards the venue, where she would meet all of her family members again. She hadn't seen most of them in four years and of course she also had to see Novak, the man she once wanted to marry and the father of her child that he didn't even know about.

"Mummy," The little girl said, giggling as her mother sat her on the ground, immediately taking her hand, while they entered the big building.

"Y/N!" She then heard someone say from behind her. Turning, around she saw her mother standing in front of her.

"I haven't seen you in so long, my dear," She greeted her, pulling her into a quick hug.

"And this must my little grandchild," She concluded as she kneeled down in front of the little girl.

"It's great that I can finally meet her," Y/M/N said, getting onto her feet again to look at her daughter.

"I'd rather not be here," Y/N admitted, frowning slightly.

"If Novak sees her...," She started, referring to her daughter, but she was cut off by an all too familiar voice.

"Y/N, is that you?" Novak questioned, making her lift her head before she started to nod.

"Yes, it's me," She answered, already feeling the tears brim in her eyes as she thought about the terrible memories of four years ago.

"It's good to see you," He stated, smiling at her, but his eyes widened as he looked down, seeing the exact same eyes starring back at him.

"Y/N, Y/N!" She suddenly heard someone say, making her open her eyes only to see Novak leaning over her with a worried look.

"Love, are you okay?" He questioned, noticing that a few tears were running down her cheeks.

Y/N shook her head in confusion, slowly sitting up on the bed and burying her head in her hands.

"What's wrong?" The tennis player immediately asked, placing his arm around her shoulders, looking at her through his worry-filled eyes.

Wiping her tears away, she took a quick look at the night stand, where her beautiful engagement ring was laying, shining in the moon light.

A wave of relief washed over Y/N as she threw her arms around her fiancé. "It was just a dream," She ensured herself, smiling up at him.

"It was just a dream," She repeated, making Novak look at her in confusion.

"A nightmare?" He asked, softly stroking Y/N's hair before kissing the top of her head.

"Yes," she whispered, not wanting to be reminded of the terrible dream.

"Do you want to talk about?" He asked, but she immediately shook her head.

"I just want to lay in your arms, is that okay?" She mumbled, already feeling his grip tighten around her.

"That's perfect, love."
