Tennis Player One Shots

Surprise party ~ Novak Djokovic

Y/N was beyond happy as she watched how the French Open's tour director handed her fiancé the trophy; luckily he was able to defend it after his win in 2016.

With a big smile on her lips and a few tears forming in her eyes she ran towards him after the ceremony was over.

"I'm so proud of you, Novak!" She exclaimed, throwing her arms around him in a tight hug, but before she could even say something else, he lifted her off the ground.

"I love you," He stated, making his fiancée giggle slightly.

"I love you, too, my champion," She replied as he sat her down on the ground again before leaning down and pressing a soft kiss to her lips.

"You played absolutely amazingly," She said and his coach nodded in agreement.

"Thank you," Novak replied, taking her hand and leading her to where he had left the trophy standing on a table.

A proud smile could be seen on his lips as he carefully lifted it up before handing it to Y/N.

Her eyes slightly widened, but the smile never left her lips, while they each were holding one side of the trophy and Novak's coach took a picture of them.

"This is incredible," Y/N commented, taking a deep breath after setting the trophy down on the table again.

"I would have never achieved this if you weren't always there to support me," The tennis player mumbled, tightly wrapping his arms around his fiancée's waist.

Two hours later the two were finally on their way back to their house in Paris after a few interviews and a little bit of celebrating.

Novak quickly opened the door, placing his bag next to the stairs before switching on the light, his eyes widening as he saw a lot of people standing in front of him.

"Congratulations!" They all exclaimed, making the Serbian tennis player smile even brighter.

"Thank you so much," He replied, receiving hugs from each and everyone of his family members and his friends that had the time to come and celebrate with him.

"It's so great that you're all here," He added, taking his time in talking to all of his guests.

After what felt like hours of talking, Novak was finally able to enjoy a moment of peace and immediately started to search for his fiancée.

"Y/N," He called out and smiled as he saw her walking towards him. "This was all your idea, wasn't it?"

"Of course," She answered, chuckling slightly, while he wrapped his arms around her.

"Thank you for doing this," He mumbled, leaning down to place his lips on top of hers for a moment, "But what would you have done if I lost the final?" He questioned, raising his eyebrow.

"I knew you would win," Y/N stated, shrugging her shoulders, making him chuckle.

"You always believe in me, don't you?" He asked, pulling her even closer as she nodded.

"Of course, I do," She answered, carefully running a hand through her hair.

"You're amazing," The tennis player replied before pressing a kiss to her cheek.

"I know," Y/N said, making him roll his eyes playfully, "That's why you love me, isn't it?"

"Sure," Novak replied, looking directly into her eyes, "but there are also many other reasons."

"Really?" She questioned, staring right back at him as he smiled down at her.

"Yes," He answered, placing his hand on her cheek, "Don't forget that you're my champion, Y/N. I love you."
