'Game, Set, Match, Raonic', was echoing through Alexander's head again and again; he had fought so hard for the victory only to loose the final set 6-1 in the 4th round of Wimbledon.

He slowly ran a hand through his blondish hair, sighing in frustration before waving at his fans one last time.

His head hung low as he left the court; he surely had not expected it to be easy, but he had had quite a good feeling after the first sets.

On his way out of the changing rooms, a lot of people wanted to talk to him, but luckily, he was able to walk past them without being stopped.

The young German didn't want to go back to his hotel yet, so he decided to walk through the streets of London.

Without thinking about anything in particular, he walked around and admired the beautiful city, trying his best to forget everything about the match.

Soon enough, he somehow found himself in front of his hotel and as he slowly became tired he went up the stairs to his room, but on the way he found a sign saying 'To the roof' pointing up a few more steps.

Shrugging his shoulders, he walked up the stairs with the last bit of energy he had left, but it definitely was worth it.

He could see the skyline of whole London from this spot, while the stars were brightly shining down on him.

Alexander was too amazed to look anywhere else, but the sky, his eyes lighting up more and more with each second that passed by.

"Hey," He suddenly heard somebody say, making him turn his head to the side immediately.

There, he saw a girl about his age, curiously looking up at him, her y/h/c hair was slightly blowing in the wind.

"Hello," Alexander replied, nervously scratching the back of his neck, his gaze switching between the stars and the girl next to him.

"I've never seen anybody else up here before," She mumbled, a small smile finding it's way onto her lips.

"Oh," The tennis player mumbled, chuckling quietly, "I guess it kinda is a coincidence I even found out you could go to the roof. I'm sorry if I'm disturbing you."

"Don't worry, you don't," The girl explained, looking at all the lights in front of them, "What's your name?"

"You can call me Sascha," He stated, running a hand through his hair, "What about you?"

"I'm Y/N," She replied before they both stood there in silence for a while.

"Well, Sascha," Y/N spoke up again, "People usually only come up here when they're sad or want to surprise their girlfriend with something romantic. What brings you here?"

The German chuckled a little before thinking about it.

"I guess I'm here because I needed some time to think and calm down," He explained, shrugging his shoulders, "And you? Are you waiting for any boy to show up?"

She giggled quietly, while shaking her head.

"Definitely not," She stated, glancing down  at the ground, "I'm came up here for the same reason you did."

"Do you want to talk about it?" He questioned, but she shook her head.

"Not really," She said, looking up at him again, "Do you?"

"Well, it's hard to explain," He started, taking a deep breath, "I'm a bit disappointed."

"With what?" Y/N asked, making him frown a little.

"I've lost a very important match which I definitely could have won," He stated, while staring into her beautiful eyes.

"Did you give your best?" She questioned, making him raise his eyebrow. "What?"

"In this match, did you give your best? Did you fight till the end?" She repeated, smiling at him.

"Yes, I did," He answered after thinking for a while.

"Than you have nothing to be disappointed about," She stated, taking a look at her watch, "I think I have to go now, but remember my words."

Before Alexander could even say something else, she turned around and walked towards the door, but thankfully, he was able to stop her by taking her hand.

She turned around, looking right into his eyes which were clearly lightening up.

"Will I see you again?" He asked, hope filling his eyes as her smile widened.

"Definitely."
