When he says he likes you.
Chris: You knew Chris's father abused him and it made you feel sick, the way someone could treat their child like that. One night Chris knocked on your window, all beaten up, you cleaned him up and made him stay the night. When he thought you were asleep he whispered, "Y/N, I love you." You smiled and in the morning you greeted him by saying, "Morning Chambers, oh and I love you too." He blushed and looked into his lap.

Gordie: You and Gordie had been best friends ever since preschool and you noticed he was acting strange around you lately. One day it was just you two up in the treehouse and he was being quiet, too quiet. "Hey Gordo, why are you so quiet?" You asked. He squirmed uncomfortably and sighed, "I like you Y/N, and I have for awhile." You smiled, "I like you too Gordo, you're a real cutie, not to mention a keeper." You winked at him causing him to turn as red as a tomato.

Teddy: Teddy was always brought up as the boy who's father attempted to burn his ear off, kids would make fun of him for it sometimes. One time you decided 'to stand up for him. "Hey Jackie, your dad didn't storm the beach in Normandy because he's to much of a pussy." You yelled, which caused you to get a detention. Teddy pulled you aside after school, "Y/N, thanks for that." He said shyly. "No problem Teddy." You smiled. "Uh, Y/N, I have to tell you something, I um, I like you." He stuttered, you smiled at his nervousness. "I like you too Teddy." You said casing him to smile from ear to ear.

Vern: You could tell Vern had a crush on you, he was always so nervous and became red-faced if you mentioned him being so squirmy, finally one day he had enough courage to tell you. "Y/N, I like you." He said. "I know Vern, I like you too." And with that you kissed him on the cheek and his face was redder than cherry flavored pez.
