Felicia's POV~~
My name is Felicia Chambers, sister of Chris Chambers. My best friend and crush is Gordie Lachance. Today Gordie and I decided to go to the beach. We weren't dating or anything( not yet), but I had strong feelings for him. I was currently trying get a tan and Gordie sat beside me reading a book. "Don't you ever get tired of reading?" I asked. "No. Reading is knowledge Felcicia." He replied, pointing to his head. I rolled my eyes behind my sunglasses. Something blocked my sunlight, let me refraise that, someone was blocking my sunlight. I glanced up to see a pretty attractive guy, my age. "Hey, I couldn't help but wonder, what are you doing here? Cause heaven is a long way from here, angel." The guy said surprisingly confident. I feel Gordie glaring at him, I decided to have some fun with this. I pulled my sunglasses up and began to bat my lashes like my life depended on it. Gordie got up and angrily stomped to the water. The guy just stood there, kinda creepy. I heard someone shriek, I looked to the water. Gordie. I ran to the water, dove in, and swam to where someone was drowning. I grabbed Gordie and dragged him back to shore. I checked for a pulse, it was barely there. Luckily I knew CPR. I began compressions, then gave him mouth to mouth, I did this 3 times. On the third time I went give him air Gordie wrapped his arms around my neck, kissing me. I pulled away. Gordie smirked and stood up, smiling to himself at the way he got me flustered. Making direct eye contact with the guy who was flirting with me Gordie spoke, "Felicia, I've liked you for a while now, and I was wondering. Will you be my girlfriend?" I nodded my head eagerly. The guy stormed off, he had no chance anyways. I smiled at Gordie. He unexpectedly picked me up and threw me over his shoulder. Then he playfully tossed me in the ocean. When I came up for air I glared at him. "You're gonna regret that Lachance." I snapped. "I already practically drowned, what are you going to do?@ he asked smirking. "Oh lots of things, lots and lots of things." I replied smirking.
