Third Persons POV~~
Rain began to pour from the sky. Angry lightning and thunder erupted. The perfect night for a rumble, the perfect night for murder. Everyone stood around the field where the rumble was supposed to be. Tim Shepherd and his gang trying to show no fear, although the fear of getting struck by lightning came over everyone. The socs hadn't arrived yet, so it gave the greasers some time to say their last death wish. "The socs always win." Mattie thought to herself. "But tonight that's gonna change." She thought again. Everyone was there, and the youngest of them all, Lily tryed to be like her older brother and show no emotion, but feelings get the best of people. Hannah sat there furiously kicking a goddamned stone, considering there was no action. Everyone was surprised Dally had let his 13 year old sister participate, but Lily sure as hell enjoyed it. Soon enough the socs arrived in there stupid display of clothing, which was going to get ruined by mud. Three girls happened to accompany them, Cherry Valance, Marsha, and Kathy. Lily clenched her teeth at the sight of the socs girls, she was also wondering why Cherry was here. What was it she was always telling Pony? That she didn't like fights, but here she was on the battlefield, flaunting her skirt and her curly read hair. "She's trying to hard, it's almost disgusting. Gag me with a spoon." Lily thought, but that was mainly aimed towards Kathy, Pony's ex girlfriend.
