Mattie sat lonely in her bed. She'd had a bad day and didn't feel like getting her brother, Teddy involved.
He didn't understand girl things. Especially this type of thing. It was the first day of her period.
She glared at the wall. Stupid wall, it doesn't get periods.
She thought.
She kept looking at things around her room, shaming them for not having this lovely week full of blood, crying, hormones, cramps, and cravings, the strangest of cravings.
She layed down. She cried in agony at the pain in her lower abdomen.
A knock on her window made her pause her wails.
She looked to see her boyfriend Chris. She was supposed to be happy, but who could when they were bleeding, in the most awkward place known to man.
"It's open." She grumbled.
He lifted the window and climbed in her window, landing swiftly on her floor. He shut the window behind him.
"I heard someone was having a bad day." He said, making a frown face.
"Stop the pitying and just come cuddle with me." She growled.
"Okay, jeez." He chuckled.
He walked to her bed and lied next to her, crawling in the covers.
Her back was too him, so he scooted up to her and wrapped his arm tightly around her waist. Her fingers interlaced with his.
"Anytime you need to cuddle, just call me." Chris cooed, whilst running a finger through her hair, causing her eyelids to droop over her blue eyes. She fell asleep right beside the love of ur life. He soon followed.
