Chapter 14 - Alicia's macabre plan / September-October 1972

POV Helena

September

On September 5, on Tuesday, it was Freddie's twenty-sixth birthday. There was a little celebration at their parents' house and over the weekend, on Saturday, September 9th we all went to Kensington Tavern. Bri and Rog stayed with girls. Bri stayed with a blonde and Rog with a redhead. It seems that they combined to provoke me and make me jealous. I was about to explode with rage when Clare said to me,

"My friend, I think it's time to choose between my brother Rog and Bri, do not you think?" They are completely in love with you. I know how beautiful Bri is, a gentleman, but my campaign is for you to choose my brother. Rog and you would be a beautiful couple. You only have to, Helena;

"Clare, I love Rog and Bri as friends," she said, smiling nervously.

"He loves both of you as friends, but he's very jealous of them," Clare said, smiling.

"I'm jealous of my friends, I can not do anything about it. I've always been jealous, even more seeing these profiteering women, the night, behind them. They are beautiful, but these women do not match them, "she told Clare, and she smiled.

- I agree with Helena. These women do not match Rog or Bri. Bri and Rog have to choose women like Helena and I who are beautiful, without being vulgar and sexy. Alicia smiled.

"Are you interested in my brother or in Bri, Alicia, and I do not know?" Clare smiled.

"I'm not interested in them, though your brother and I already kissed at last year's Halloween party," smiled Alicia. "I confess Rog is beautiful and sexy, but he's not my type, as far as Bri ..." He's very nerdy.

Clare and I started laughing.

Bri had commented with her parents about her decision to stop PHD studies and her thesis. Mr. Harold, Bri's father, was very hurt, and Mrs. Ruth supported his son more.

He looked at Rog and Bri and they had fun with the girls. I noticed that for a moment Bri looked in my direction to notice my reaction and then it was Rog's turn. I made a point of showing the two that I was very jealous and provoking them that night as well, I danced with a handsome boy who was in the pub. There was no kiss, but the boy and I exchanged a phone. His name is Elian. I liked him a lot. He is a medical student at the London School of Medicine. Who knows if in the future I will fall in love with Elian.

On September eleven, my college classes came back.

POV Alicia

I watched Roger and Brian stay with the girls, but, they did it on purpose, to make jealous for Helena and the dumb one did not realize it yet? Honestly, I'm starting to get bored with the pose of a good Samaritan of her, a puritan. Damn, she should have chosen who she wants to be with. Helena does not fool me. She denies it until the end, but, I know she's in love either with Roger or Brian. Whomever she chose soon said to me, for in that way she would invest in the other. Just as she's not honest with me, I'm not honest with her, when I say Roger is not my type. Rog is my type, yes. He's too beautiful and sexy. I love that sexy side of him. Bri is also a gentleman, gorgeous, with his green eyes. Both attract me. If Helena does not decide soon, I'll stay with them both. At the end of the evening, at the pub, Helena danced with a boy named Elian, a medical student at the London School of Medicine. They switched phones. I get very angry because Helena attracts everything and everyone to her. I confess that she is very beautiful. She is white, has fleshy lips, long straight black hair, up to her waist, eyes black as night. The boys are crazy about Helena's beauty. She has sculptural body, has thin waist, big butt, full breasts, thick leg, wide hips, makes success in beauty contests. I know I'm beautiful, because Helena has told me many times. I have long straight blond hair and have green eyes and are thin. Helena said that if I were to run for beauty contests, I would definitely win. I'm almost accepting Helena's suggestion. I have thought of participating in the future, of all the beauty contests that Helena will attend, only for me to defeat her and end her ridiculous pose.

POV Roger

Bri and I realized how much Helena was jealous of us at the celebration of Freddie's birthday, for Bri and I were with some girls, but despite her jealousy, Helena remained silent.

Also during the month of September, Trident Studios booked a Queen presentation on December 20 at the Marquee. Even the boys and I will soon sign more contract roles with Trident Studios. At the end of September, the boys and I decided to leave the name of the first album of the band, only with the name Queen, with nothing else. I know it's really lacking in creativity. In the meantime we decided how we would do the photo shoots, the cover art of the album and what would be the album cover to be chosen.

October

In the early days of the month we talked to the people at Trident Studios and said we'd already know how to do the photo shoot. I found working at Trident Studios in the engineering sector, a boy named XXX, who is from Truro. I asked him to take some pictures of the band in the apartment where Freddie and Mary live. He accepted the offer. On two consecutive weekends, at fourteen, fifteen, twenty-one, and twenty-two in October, he took pictures of Bri, Freddie, Deacy and me in Freddie's apartment with Mary in the Kensington neighborhood. They live near Helen. Helena, Clare and Veronica followed the photo shoot. There were many Mary brought from Biba stores, which she works on and use in the photos. After the two weekends of photos, at the end of the month we received the photos and liked what we saw. And we've separated some photos that will be used on the back cover of the album. Now is to think about which photo we will use for the album cover. What will the album cover look like?

POV Alicia

During the end of October, the college professor informed the students once again to paint three pictures for us to present and sell at the annual student fair at Royal Holloway on December 15th, the last day of school, on Friday -market. I got discouraged at the time. I have noticed that the cadres of students who are succeeding are Helen and Louis. Even Helena's is the biggest hit of all college.

"Do your best work for the boardroom on December fifteenth," said the professor. "We hope we have more beautiful pictures, Helena. You have been getting better and better in painting and everyone has praised you.

"Thank you, Professor, I am very happy with the recognition, but I still have much to learn," Helena said, smiling sheepishly.

- Teachers have admiration and pride for you. Said the professor, smiling.

While the teacher was talking about Helena's beautiful paintings, I thought to myself of a way to end the day with the pictures Helena would paint. I was working out a macabre plan. Helena to take care of herself. I'll end the beautiful paintings she painted ...
