Chapter 09 - Helena x Roger / The kiss / part 2 / December 1971.

POV Roger

We were in the girls' apartment, after the painting fair of the Plastic Arts students. We ate Fish and Chips. Helena and I were sitting side by side hugging each other. I drank beer and she sucked it. We chatted with our friends cheerfully and I kissed his face. She smiled and leaned her head against my chest and kissed her silky hair.

"It's wonderful to feel your embrace again, Rog," she whispered to me. "How I've missed all this.

"We'll make up for lost time, my friend." He smiles at her. "Will you be spending the holidays at Truro or in Brazil?"

"I'll be spending the holidays at Truro with my parents. I travel to Brazil on January 3rd with them. We will spend two weeks in Brazil visiting my relatives and friends. She said quietly, closing her eyes.

"I'll miss you in those two weeks when you're in Brazil." The boys and I will re-record at Trident Studios on January 7th. But I'm glad we're going to spend the holidays, together, I'm going to Truro, too. "I smiled at her. "We'll go to Truro together."

She looked at me and smiled beautifully.

"It will be wonderful to have you with me at the holiday season." She said with a smile.

I smiled at her and looked at her beautiful black eyes as night and her fleshy lips. I had a little attraction for my friend. This is the first time I feel this. I kissed her forehead and hugged her harder and she returned my tender gesture.

"My Snow White, my Lena," I smiled as I said it to her.

"Your Snow White, I know I am, but, Lena?" Is that my nickname now? "You've never called me that before.

"But now you're my Lena, only I can call you that," I smiled at her.

"Combined," she said, smiling back.

We all stayed together until about three in the morning. Before we left, Helena called Freddie, Deacy, Bri and I and went to her room.

"As I told you, I had already presented Bri, now missing Freddie's gift, John and his Rog," she said.

- Present, for us? Freddie said in astonishment.

"Let's just say early Christmas presents," she smiled. "You expect them to like it.

At that moment, she removed some plastics that covered three screens she had painted. Wow, what beautiful paintings she made.

- Bri's gift was two paintings: one playing the guitar and the other the complete band. And here are his gifts: the same painting with you all together, the full band and Freddie singing, Rog playing drums and John playing bass. She said with a smile.

"Dear Helena, this is incredible, fabulous. What a wonderful gift you have, "Freddie said, hugging her tightly." My friend, thank you for the beautiful Christmas presents. I do not know how to thank you, "Freddie said excitedly.

- Thank me for always being this incredible friend that you are talented, sensitive and playful. I love you, Freddie, "Helena smiled.

"I love you too, my dear, and always count on me," Freddie said with tears in her eyes.

Then it was John who thanked her.

"I hope you like John," Helena said.

"Helena, I have no words to thank you for the wonderful paintings you have done for me. You have a beautiful gift, my friend. You will have a bright future. Thank you so much for the beautiful gift, "John said, hugging him in excitement as well." I do not know what else to say, you know how shy I am. God bless you, Helena, and always count on me.
