Chapter 05 - Wacky Halloween / Brian and Chrissy - September-October 1971

It's been a week since the last events. Everyone was already aware that Jill betrayed Roger, that she was having an affair with Kevin. Everyone also knew that I knew the whole story and that Roger was the last, namely. I talked to Freddie, Bri and John. They were upset with me at first, but, they said they also understand my point of view and they said that Roger is very hurt to me, that he does not want to see me or talk to me, but Freddie, who is celebrating his birthday on September 5th , Said he will celebrate his twenty-fifth birthday at a pub and want everyone present.

Clare, Sarah and Vanessa cheered me up saying that eventually things will return to normal.

On September 4, on Saturday, we all went to the pub, to celebrate Freddie's birthday. Roger was the only one who did not speak to me and deeply hurt his indifference. He smoked a lot and drank a lot and still had two women in the pub the whole time we stayed there. Everyone realized how annoyed I was. Some guys wanted to stay with me, but I did not care about them. I just really went to congratulate my friend, Freddie. After midnight we congratulate him. On the one hand, it was good, because my friends were all present. I noticed a strange mood between Brian and Chrissy. I noticed that Bri was not very happy. What happened?

On Sunday, September 5, there was still a birthday cake for Freddie, which his mother had prepared, and we all went to Jer Bulsara's house.

On September 6th, my classes at college, as well as my friends, have finally begun. I studied in the morning from seven-thirty to noon. In the afternoon, I was looking for beauty contest ads. In the first week of college, I've made some friends with classmates, especially Alicia and Louis. We identify quickly. The first week of school was incredible. I'll love the course. The faculty told all the students to buy canvas, paintbrushes and we started to make our paintings, because in December, before Christmas there will be a painting fair of the students of Plastic Arts, which will be sold. It will be a way for me to make money too.

The month of September passed quickly and Rog did not speak to me. He's still hurt. I'm not going after him. I already asked for forgiveness. I'll give him time to really think about everything that happened and understand my side as well. I just hope that the day you come after me, do not be late ...

During the month of October, Freddie commented that the boys and he has rehearsed a lot and that in early December, they will return to record at Trident Studios, plus songs for the band's first album.

Bri commented with all of us that there will be a big Halloween party at Imperial College for students from all campuses at the University of London and other colleges on October 31st on Sunday. He was selling some tickets to the party and I bought it, as did Vanessa, Sarah, Clare, Victor and Luke. We'll all go to the party together. Freddie, John, Veronica, Mary, Chrissy, Bri, Tim, Les and Rog also confirmed their presence. My college friends Alicia and Louis also bought. They will have the opportunity to meet my friends.
