Chapter 26 - Alice x Roger / Counselor Freddie / January - February 1974

I went back to London on January twenty. Bri looked for my parents and me at the airport. On the twenty-first, my parents returned to Truro, since they will start working at the hospital. Bri and I were dating, in the apartment I share with the girls. He hugged me, kissed me. I kissed him back. Bri had already commented to me while I was in São Paulo that the boys and he would attend a music festival in Australia on the twenty-eighth of that month and he had commented that Mary and Veronica would go with them. He commented that he really wanted me to go to Australia with him, since my college classes only begin in the second half of February. I accepted and Bri asked Trident Studios to pay for my airfare as well. In the coming days, we will travel to Melbourne. The name of the Festival is Sunbury Rock Festival. Queen will perform at the festival Jan. 28 on Monday.

"We'll have a few days to enjoy my love before we travel to Australia with the band," Bri said, kissing me while we were in my apartment.

"It will pass quickly, my love," I said, smiling. "I hope you do well at the festival." I'll be there cheering for you.

"The boys are excited. Mary and Veronica will join you, but I have to say that Alicia will join us as well. - Bri said looking at me to see my reaction.

I looked at Bri and said,

"Will Alicia go with us?" I asked in amazement.

- Yes, Helena. Roger and Alicia had some meetings earlier this month, after New Year's Eve. Roger invited her to go with us to Australia and she accepted Helena. I know you and she are no longer friends, my love, but she will be with us on the journey, "Bri said.

I was sad at the time, but I did not show Bri.

"Bri, I do not know if I should go to Melbourne with you," she said thoughtfully. "I do not want to have a problem with Alice's witch."

"All you have to do is stay away from her, Helena, simple," Bri said, hugging me. "Roger has not yet realized that Alicia is a lieutenant, a fake, he'll fall into the real at any moment. They are getting, according to Freddie and Deacy, but, it's just a sexual attraction.

Roger's problem if he wants to keep her. He knows Alicia is a fake, unscrupulous woman. She was always envious of me and had not noticed from the beginning, but now I know everything. She wants to date a Rock Star to have a queen life, "she said thoughtfully.

"Roger will know how to get rid of her, Helena," Bri said. "Roger has had many women in the last few months.

I was thoughtful, with Bri's words and my heart was very sad.

While I was in Brazil, I learned about the Miss São Paulo contest. The preliminaries of the contest would be this January and the contest is in February. And in the month of June will be Miss Brazil. I wanted very much to represent my country of origin, however, I still have one semester of college to study and I want to finish my studies. I do not want to lock up the faculty now, only a few months before I have my diploma in the hands of a bachelor of Fine Arts. So the way I am I sign up for the Miss London pageant on February 5th. I have dual nationality and I may as well apply for missions competitions in England. There have already been missions contests in other cities in England. Only London is missing. The Miss London contest will be held in March and Miss England in the month of May, because in July it will be the Miss Universe. Another thing that I will have to inform myself on the day of registration is if the candidate can be dating. I know Miss can not be married or have children, but I want to make sure she can be dating, at least.

On January twenty-five, in the morning, I traveled with Bri, Freddie, Mary, Veronica and John, Roger and Alice's insufferable, with the roadies of the band, producers of EMI and Trident Studios, to Melbourne, Australia. Clare told me to make the most of the city in the next six days and take lots of pictures. We were on the plane, at the company Australia Airlines and via Roger and Alicia kissing in some of the front seats. I held on to not cry. Damn, I'm dating Bri. I can not stay like this, just because Roger is with Alicia's slut.
