Jason's POV

I go and sit down on the leather couch as I wait. An advox comes in at one point to bring me some coffee, I take a small sip then put it down as I cringe my nose, it's too bitter.

A few minutes later some peacekeepers come in and force me into the elevator.

I stand in the elevator awkwardly with the peacekeepers at my back. I can feel their intense gaze fixated on me as they burn holes in my back.

They pushed a mysterious button that I didn't know what lead to, as the elevator keeps darting upwards I wait uncomfortably.

I hear a ding sound in the small space of the elevator, the sound bounces across the walls and ceiling until the doors slide open.

An intensely strong gust of wind suddenly strikes me and makes me stumble back a few steps. I try to walk forwards but its hard when the wind is howling against you.

I try to get my feet to grip into the pavement of the roof and it works but only slightly. I take small steps not wanting to fall face first on pavement.

I try and focus my vision but its hard with the sun shining brightly and the strong winds blowing at me.

'Where are these winds coming from?' I question myself. I raise my arm up about eye level to shield my eyes my both the sun and the wind.

With my arm raises to block the wind and sun, I can see slightly. I look to my side and notice how high I am right now. I see other buildings but this one is towering over them. I walk over to the edge of the roof and look down.

The people from down there look like they have all shrunken. The tiny blurs move around confusing me so I decide on looking away.

I scan all around me quickly taking it all in, the tall firm buildings, the sun just above the horizon, it's a shame I had to leave on a great day. I turn away from the view and focus on what's hovering just a few meters away from me. A big hovercraft stays solemnly in place in the air as it reflects the beams of sunlight.

I notice a ladder decent from the hover craft, I look at it as it slowly moves downwards at my height. When it's nearly at me I grab onto the rope and pull my body up.

Suddenly all my limbs freeze, unable to move. The wind pushes me around in mid air as if I was weightless, as if I was paper thin.

Some peacekeepers aboard the hovercraft tug me into the ship, I get up with a small leap then dust of my clothes. I look around notice everyone laying their eyes on me as if I just killed someone.

I make my over to a seat beside someone I don't know hearing murmurs of people saying stuff about me, I can't make out what their saying so I decide on laying low and not talking for the ride to try to not cause any more attention.

The air is thick and intense as each tribute but me plans their strategies in low voices.

The hovercraft rumbles and shakes a bit then throws me forward, my seatbelt just manages to save me from hitting face face first into the floor, by this gesture of the hovercraft I realize it's now flying. I'm guessing the take of was the only struggle cause now we're cutting through air so smoothly that I can't stand up completely and not fall from the air blowing the hovercraft.

I sit back down in my seat and start thinking about what I would do in these games. My thoughts are interrupted by me noticing a lady coming around and doing something with the other tributes.

The lady's short with brown hair and red highlights, she looks fragile but her sharp blue eyes are telling me that she could be fierce when she wanted too. She carries a metal object in her hands with I have no clue what it does and she wears plastic gloves.

She finishes with the tribute across from me then turns around and gives me a long stare before she starts moving the metal object to my forearm. Before the metal even touches my arm I push it away.

"What is that." I say boldly.

"Your tracker." She answers coldly before sticking it in my arm.

A stinging pain starts emerging from where she injected my tracker, I hold my forearm trying to relief the pain but it just increases it.

I take my hand away from the injection spot and notice the tribute beside me staring at me.

"What?" I ask.

He looks around obviously confused of why I would be talking to him then says "Me?"

"Ya you, why do you keep on looking at me like that?" I ask.

He looks still filled with fear but then gathered the courage to say something.

"Well ummm... I don't know if I should tell you this but Crone says he's out to get you and nobody better get in his way or they'll die alongside you." he whispers to me pretty quickly trying not to attract any attention, then continues,"I shouldn't have told you, now I'm gonna get killed" he says with fear in his voice and worry on his face then turns around as if he didn't even talk to me.

For the rest of the ride I think about my strategies and what would happen if they were damaged or if any obstacles would block out my chance which they probably would.

A sudden force throws me forward and my seatbelt saves me yet again from the floor and I now know we've landed.
