Chapter five - chocolates

Your POV
I was headed towards the library when Hanabusa called my name, "(Y/N)! Wait up!" I turned around to face him as he ran towards me, "what is it?" He blushed a little and handed me a box, "umm..... please accept them..." I let out a slight chuckle, "gladly" I open the box, inside are my favorite chocolates! "Thank you!!" He smiles, "do you like them?" I smile brightly, "yeah! These are my favorite!!! Thank you so much Hanabusa!" I hugged him, "but why are you giving me chocolates?..." his blush darkens, "well uh.... since it's Valentine's Day I thought you'd like them....." I blushed a bit, "thank you Hanabusa, but.... I don't have anything for you..." he chuckled, "that's alright, I didn't expect anything" I thought for a nit then walked up to him and kissed his cheek, "how's that?" He smiled gently and blushed, I smiled "happy Valentine's Day" his blush darkened, it was so dark that his face was as red as blood..... I think I'm gonna go with tomato... "thanks..." he mumbled under his breath, I chuckled "anyway, I have to get going now... thanks again for the chocolates Hanabusa!" He smiles brightly, "you're welcome (Y/N)!" And then I walked away, I walked to the library to get a book I've been wanting to read for a while. When I arrived there I saw Takuma, I smiled at him, "hi Takuma!" He smiles back, "hi (Y/N)! What are you doing here?" I shrugged, "I came here to watch a movie" we laugh, "nah, I came here to see if there's a book here I've been wanting to read" he raises an eyebrow, "what's it about?" I think for a while, "well, it's about a girl that's a well known assassin, one day she's picked out by a prince to participate in a tournament for her freedom, she and the prince end up falling in love but here's a plot twist, the prince's best friend, captain of the guards, also falls in love with the assassin, he's also her trainer in the tournament, there's some magic involved but the story is mainly focused on the love triangle" he thinks for a while, "that sounds really interesting! What's the name of the book?" I chuckle, "Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas, a very talented writer!" He nods, "indeed, hmm.... I think I might know where it is, follow me" I smile brightly. We walk for a bit and then he stops in front of a shelf, he runs his fingers against the books looking for the book I want. When he stops he takes the book out and hands it to me, "there you go, oh! I almost forgot" he hands me a white box with a green ribbon, "happy Valentine's Day" I smile gently, "thank you but... I don't have anything in return..." he smiles, "that book you were reading the other day, can I get it?" I smile brightly, "sure! I'll give it to you as soon as I can!" He smiles his usual bright smile, "great! Can't wait to read it!" I chuckle, "well, I'm off to read my book! See ya later Takuma!" I smiled at him and then walked out of the library. When I got to my room I placed the chocolates on my vanity, laid down in my bed and started reading. A few minutes later there was a knock on my door, "come in!" I said as I put my book down and got up. The door was opened and I'm the doorframe stood Kaname holding a black box with a red ribbon, "these are for you..." he walks to me and hands me the box, "thank you Kaname" he smiled gently and sat down next to me, "I don't have anything in return though...." he placed his index finger on my lips telling me to shush, "that's alright, all I want is.... a kiss" I sigh, "yeah, that ain't happening, sorry lover boy" he sighs, "it was worth a try though...." I chuckle, "I guess.... well actually..." I stood up and went through my bag, "there they are!" I took out a (f/c) colored box with a (n/f/c) colored ribbon and handed it to Kaname, "I made chocolates, don't expect them to be good though, haha" he chuckled, "well I'll be on my way then, thank you for the chocolates and I hope you enjoy yours, (Y/N)" I smiled at him, "thank you, you too" then he walked out, I sure hope he won't get sick because of the chocolates...
Kaname's POV
I may be betrothed to Yuki, but that doesn't mean I can't love someone else... right? I hope I'm right, then (Y/N) could make me chocolates whenever she wants...
back to your POV
I laid back down into my bed and there was a knock again, I wonder who it is this time. I got up and opened the door, there stood Shiki holding a white box with a ribbon the same as his eyes, "these are for you, (Y/N)...." I smiled, "thank you, I think I have some for you" I invited him in and then looked through the bag, "yup! There they are!" I took out a box and handed it to him, the box was black and the ribbon was the same as his hair color, "I hope you enjoy them! Happy Valentine's Day!" I smiled, "thank you, you too..." then he left. I turned around to continue reading my book when there was another knock on the door, I opened it again. There stood Akatsuki, "oh heh Akatsuki, what can I do for you?" He handed me a white box, the ribbon was the same as his eye color, "thank you Akatsuki!" His lips were ticked into a slight smile, I handed him a black box and the ribbon was he same as his hair color, "happy Valentine's Day! Hope you enjoy the chocolates!" He nodded and left, I closed the door and sighed, "why can't they just ignore me?.. but now that I've found the chocolates, I can give it to them!" I took the bag and went outside, I gave Hanabusa chocolates in a black box with a blue ribbon, the same as his eyes while Takuma got a black box with a white ribbon. They really enjoyed getting chocolates from me. I then returned to my room, laid down in my bed and continued to read my book, ah, what a lovely way to spend the day.
