Chapter Fifteen - Acceptance

3rd Person POV
Shiki was in the library with Takuma which was looking for another manga book, "why do I have to come along, Takuma?" Takuma turned around to face him, "I wanted company, of course!" He said with a bright smile, Shiki sighs, "and why is that me?" Takuma shrugs, "I figured you didn't have anything to do" Shiki sighed again, "what's the real reason that I'm here?" Takuma grinned but only slightly, "well, I didn't want you near (Y/N) much" Shiki raised an eyebrow, "and why not?" Takuma smiled at him but Shiki could tell that he was irritated, "because you already made a move on her and I don't want you to take her away from me" Shiki let out a small and short laughter, "wow, you're slow for someone so smart, you do realize that i am the second one, or was it third?..." his eyes widened, "who?!" Shiki grinned slightly, "Kaname and Hanabusa, of course" Takuma's eyes widened even more, "yup,and i bet that Akatsuki has done something too, wouldn't even be surprised if you did something" he shrugged, "guess i better step up my game then" he grinned, "I'm gonna join you on Sunday, no matter what you say" 'Interesting.. so he thinks he can steal her away, huh?' Shiki thought to himself before saying "alright, lets see who'll win, that'll sure be interesting, haha" Takuma chuckled, "indeed, may the best vampire win" and that, was how their friendship was ruined...

Your POV

I was studying for the exams that were coming up in about two weeks, "okay.. so if i multiply this number with the x and then extract the y from it... i should get the answer.. is this even possible?!" then i heard a knock on my door, "come in!" i said while still reading over my textbook, I put my book down and looked towards the door, "oh hey Takuma" I smiled towards him, "what are you doing here?" he chuckles, "well Shiki and I were talking, is it okay if i join you on Sunday?" i chuckle, "yes of course" he smiles gently, "thats good, nothing to worry about then, might i ask what you're doing?" I let out a long and irritated sigh, "yeah.. i am trying to study for the exams coming up in two weeks, I missed out a lot of time and in order for me to continue staying in the night class i have to pass the exams in the day class..." he chuckles, "i could help you if you want" i smile brightly, "really?!" he nods, "what subjects?" i sigh, "math.. and a little bit of geography.." he chuckles again and takes a seat next to me, "of course i will help! you're lucky that i came, I'm not sure if the other guys have the brains to help.." we laugh and then i pick up my textbook again an hand it to him, "okay, my worst struggle is Algebra, if you have any easy solutions to this problem" as i spoke i pointed at a problem in the textbook, "i understand the other problems but this one leaves me stranded.." he chuckled, "yeah, i was stranded on that one once too, ok, all you have to do is..." he explained to me everything i needed to know, my notebook was not full of new formulas that are way easier! ill ace these exams! "thank you so much! i don't know how i can repay you!" he chuckles, "its okay and.. i can think of one way to repay me.." my eyes lit up with joy, "really?! what is it?" he taps his cheek with his index finger, "a kiss on the cheek" he said calmly. Heat rose up to my cheeks, they were burning up, i was blushing.. "o-ok.." i said nervously as i leaned forward and kissed him on the cheek, "there! was that any good?..." he chuckled, " i was just kidding, but yes, it was good, thank you" he then closed the textbook, "alright, you said you had problems with Geometry too, right?" i nodded, "well, it isn't really Geometry, its social studies, i need to write a small essay, and i mean small! only 500 words! about either the ocean and the beings there, the earth and how its developed, computers and electronics and last but not least politics" he nodded, "okay.. and which one were you given" i sighed, "politics.." he chuckled, "then lets get started" we started working, Takuma was a lot of help, i was able to finish my small essay in only 20 minutes! "thank you so much Takuma!" i hugged him tightly, "what can i do to repay you this time?" he thought for a while, "I don't know, i guess you owe me in the future" he chuckled and i nodded, "for sure!" then we had a talk, the sun was coming up and so Takuma left. Wow, now I'm sure that i will ace the tests!
