Chapter Thirty - History

Your POV
I arrive at the Night dorms early in the morning, I was extremely tired and I was sure that everyone was asleep already. I open the door slowly, "ahh, it's good to be home!" I close the door again, my back against the room and the doors in front of me. As I turn around I hear my name being called in a crying yet happy tone. "You're back!" Hanabusa yelled, I chuckle, "yeah, sorry for how long I was away.." he smiled at me, "don't mind it, rather.. tell us why you left?" I sigh, "I didn't have much choice.. I was forcefully taken basically I was kidnapped" Takuma gasps, "no way! Really?! By who?" I sigh again, "by the same people as before.. they wanted something from time that I don't quite get.. but, I know it's nothing good" Takuma nodded and Kaname walked to us, "so what you're saying is that they may have used you to create something very bad?" I nod, "why?" He asked. I sigh yet again and face them all, "Because I'm a BlueBlood..." Ruka rolled her eyes, "we know that already, you're the lowe-" I cut her off, "yes, I am the highest of the highest.. unfortunately" her eyes widen, "what do you mean?" I look at Kaname, "you didn't tell her? Are you seriously telling me that you, Zero, Takuma, Hanabusa, Toga and the headmaster are the only ones that know?.." Kaname nodded, "we thought it would be for the best if not many knew.." I face Ruka again, "in your eyes, Pure-bloods like Kaname are the highest, right? And that you're meant to serve them?" She nods, "yeah.. to me.. they are like well.. not exactly Level E's but somewhere in between being a level E and an Aristocrat.." her eyes widen, "why should I believe you?" I take out a knife and cut my skin slightly, so that there was a small, bleeding wound on my arm. I put my arm directly below her nose for her to smell, "smell it" her eyes widen, "no way!" I shrug, "yes way" she shakes her head, "impossible" I sigh, "very possible" still shocked by this discovery she manages to say, "I can't believe this! So this whole time.. the reason why vampires and hunters and all sorts of associations were constantly after you, was because you're a BlueBlood?" I nod, "incredible.." I look at my wound and sigh, my eyes glow sky blue and the blood dripping down my arm turns blue as the small but deep wound starts healing itself. This time everyone's jaw drops, "you can heal yourself?!" Hanabusa asked, "jut small wounds like these, usually I'm not able to because I get big wounds like that time when I was cut across my back and side and.." Takuma cut me off, "yes yes, but then why only small ones?" I shrug, "don't ask me, perhaps it's because I'm not the strongest BlueBlood there is or maybe because I made this wound myself?" I may have just been extremely tired or exhausted but Kaname looked afraid for a moment.. his expression showed extreme fear, "Kaname? May I have a word with you later?" He nodded, "of course!" I nodded, "thank you" I look at the others, "now then.. if you don't mind I'm going I have a bit of rest.. I'm extremely tired and well, it's been a long trip. I met people I haven't met in a while and got sort of kidnapped, so then.. I'm off to take a nap!" I said as I walked back to my room. As I opened my door I saw a note on my bed, "no! No! No!! I am not doing this shizz again!" I took the note and placed it on my nightstand, got undressed and went into my bed, "finally! Some good rest in a comfortable bed!" I closed my eyes. I was starting to slowly drift to sleep when there was a knock on my door. I sigh, "who is it?.." Kaname opened the door and walked in, "you wanted to talk?" I sigh yet again, "can we do it later? I'm not kidding.. I'm extremely ti- Actually, never mind!" I sit up in my bed, "have a seat Kaname!" I say as I pay the bed in front of me. He closes the door and walks over to take a seat. "Now.. earlier, when Takuma asked about the healing.. you looked very scared, as if you were terrified of my answer.." he raised an eyebrow, "am I really not the only BlueBlood left? Are there vampires out there that are way stronger than I am?" He shifted uncomfortably, "well uh.." I look him dead in the eye, "answer the goddamn question, I'm extremely tired of dealing with this sh!t and I really am too mentally exhausted to put up with all the stretches of your answers, so just get to the point.. yes or no?" He took a deep breath, "right then.. yes, there are far more dangerous vampires out there that are way stronger than you are. They were once like you but they got greedy, they wanted all the power they could get and it eventually drove them insane.. they started killing the ones they loved for power, they fought each other for more power until only two remained.. they were about to fight to the death when a woman of the name Azure decided to step in and stop their nonsense. The two remaining vampires, Arthur and Edwin, were too stunned to say anything. Edwin easily shook it off and attempted to slay Arthur, but Arthur decided to be the bigger person and surrender. He gave all his power to Edwin, well.. almost all of it and married Azure, together.. they had your great grandmother. Which brings us to you, your mom didn't have the BlueBlood vampire abilities because they always skip a member, for example, your children won't have the power but your grandchildren will" I nodded in understanding, "but.. what happened to Edwin?" I asked. Kaname shook his head, "he hasn't been seen for thousands of years so no one really knows that happened to him or whether he's dead or alive" I nodded again, still trying to wrap my head around this new information though. "So then why were you so scared?" This time, his expression was stern, "because I think Edwin may be after you" I burst out laughing, "okay.. so a vampire that hasn't been seen for thousands of years has come to get me? As if!" Kaname sighs, "that's because you haven't heard the rest of the story" I raise an eyebrow, "oh? Then please do carry on" He nods, "alright.. after Arthur had spent a year taking care of his daughter with his wife, Azure, Arthur came back and this time he was determined to kill Arthur and finish the job. Azure and the child ran away and went into hiding for many years. Edwin was successful in killing Arthur but that wasn't enough to clench his thirst, so he went after Azure.. the woman who stopped him from getting all the power from the beginning. Azure used a forbidden spell, she turned her daughter human and hid her well in the human world, where Edwin would never find her. Edwin eventually killed Azure and then he decided to try and take over the world, then he was sealed away but somehow broke free after a few months. No one had seen him since then or knew what his goal was by escaping" my eyes went wide, "so that may have been why my powers hadn't activated until now! Because of that forbidden spell!" Kaname nodded, "it all makes sense now! Thank you Kaname! And yes, I'll make sure I'm careful!" I kiss his cheek and lie down, "now leave so I can get my beauty rest!" He smiles, stands up and takes his leave. After he closed the door he took a deep breath and sighed, "I hope everything will be alright.." then he blushed at the thought of the kiss I gave him earlier and he went to his own room.
