Chapter Twenty-Five - Doubts and Ideas

You know how in the stereotypical movies where the woman freaks out on the day of the wedding and she flunks out, ending up not marrying the guy? Yeah.. how shall I put this.. that's me right now! What was I thinking?! Getting married at this age! It all went really wrong with Zero why should I repeat it?! Ugh! Curse my fantasy mind! "(Y/N)? Is everything okay?" It was Takuma, "hm? Oh uh... yeah! Absolutely!" I slap myself mentally, what a bad liar... "okay.. if you say so.. but if there's anything you need, just let us know, okay? We're gonna do everything we can to help you plan the wedding!" Oh.. there it goes again, "yup! Thank you!" I look at myself in the mirror, "what am I doing? Why the hell did I say yes? I'm still so young! I have my whole life ahead of me! Hanabusa is a great guy and all but.. marriage? I'm so stupid!" "Indeed, See? I told you something would happen" Ichigo had appeared behind me, "ah!" He scared me so much I hit him in the face with a hair brush, "dude! Don't scare me so much! Damn you strawberry.." Ichigo laughs, "sorry blueberry" I raise an eyebrow, "blueberry? Really?.." he chuckles, "yup, you call me strawberry for my name and looks, I call you blueberry for your rank" I sigh, "whatever.. anyway, why are you here?" He thinks for a bit, "I was bored.. I needed entertainment" I flare at him, "oh wow.. thanks for making me feel better, don't worry! I'll entertain you with my pain! What a jackass.." he laughs, "see what I mean? That attitude! I love it! Oh! By the way.. if you were single I'd probably flirt with you" I sigh, "like I need any more romance drama in my life.. first there's Zero, then Hanabusa along with Kaname and the rest of the night class! Why don't you just do like the others and kiss me, huh!" He laughs, "oh (Y/N), such humor" "haha, very funny.." Ichigo sighs, "no.. I actually came to tell you.. I love you! I fell in love with you at first sight!" I burst out laughing, "yeah right! Look Strawberry, you need to put more emotion into your acting and try to act more with your eyes.." his eyes widen, "h-how??" I chuckle, "I've been lied to so many times I'm starting to be able to tell who's lying and who's not.." he sighs, "worth a shot though" I shrug, "I almost had you convinced!" I nod, "sure, absolutely.." he raises an eyebrow, "telling me I can't act and can't do it herself... interesting" I sigh again, "there's a difference between acting and sarcasm, hun" he laughs, "what will a guy like me have to do to get a girl like you?" I shrug, "annoy her so much she starts enjoying your stupid face?" He chuckles, "I don't know if I should take that as an insult or as a compliment.. does it perhaps mean that you like me?~" "I'm taken" he laughs, "well, I came here to warn you... remember what I said about your relationship?" I nod, "well... your birthday is tomorrow so... something bad might happen.." I sigh, "don't worry.. I'm expecting it to be really bad, at least compared to my last engagement, probably not.." he shrugs, "you never know" I roll my eyes, "indicating you obviously know.." he fake gasps, "whaaaat? Noooo, I would neveeeer!" We laugh, "thanks.." he shrugs, "don't mention it" we talk for a while and then he disappears, "I wonder what will happen tomorrow..." I looked at the clock, it was quite late or rather, quite early... human time so I decided to head to bed and rest. The day after I woke up to a knock on my door, "come in" I said as I sat up and rubbed my eyes, I could barely make out the lines but I recognized the icy blue eyes instantly, "Hanabusa? What's up?" He sighs as he closes the door, "look.. I'm sorry but.. I think the whole engage to and marriage thing is well..." "a bit too early?" I asked because it seemed like he didn't want to say it, he nodded, "yeah... I'm sorry.." I shake my head, "don't worry about it, doesn't bother me at all" I smile gently, "then uh... I'll see you around?" He nods, gives me a hug then walks out, "so all this time he wanted out? Thought it was too early.. I mean, sure, I thought so too but.. he made it sound like we were breaking up! Wait..." I ran after him, "Hanabusa!" He turned around, "yes?" I took a deep breath, "the way you said it made it sound like you were breaking up with me.. is that it?" He hesitated, "well... uh.." I raise an eyebrow, "well, is it?" He still doesn't answer, "dam it! I knew it!" I sigh, "well.. it was nice while it lasted, sorry I wasn't good enough" I head to my room and I hear Hanabusa call my name three times then stops, so I'm only worth that? That's all I am to him? Ugh! Strawberry was right! Why do I continuously make the same mistake? I get confessed to, we start dating, he proposes, I accept and then bam! Breakup! Why don't you just slam me up against a wall and put me in in a coma for a few years? Wouldn't that be better! They say karma can hurt.. I didn't expect it to be this bad.. I sigh, "well would you look at that, there goes all of my hope for ever finding happiness in my life!" I arrive at my room and flop down on my bed, face first into the pillow. A couple of minutes later Ichigo appears, "told ya" I sigh, "you cwould've twold me it would hurt tis much" I said, it didn't come out right since my voice was muffled in the pillow, "get up you lazy girl! I can't understand a word you're saying!" Ichigo said as he pulled me up, I sighed and replied, "I said... you could've told me it would hurt this much.." he shrugs, "I tried.. but again, I take pleasure in your misery" I punch him in the shoulder, "I hate you" "love you too" we talk again for a while and then an idea pops up into my head, "I have an idea!" He raises an eyebrow, "that's not very healthy, now is it?" I roll my eyes, "so what's your genius idea?" I smile brightly, "my idea is..."
