Chapter Twenty-Two - Finally Expressing

Your POV
I walked down the halls and to the classroom, once there I took out my books and a pencil and started taking notes. Hanabusa sat next to me, he was trying to copy my notes, "you know.. if you'd try to make your own notes maybe you wouldn't have failing grades.." Hanabusa crossed his arms and looked away, "for your information... I get perfect grades! I just don't study" I chuckle, "oh yeah? Well I do because my grades aren't that good so I'm going to continue to take notes, sound good?" He kisses my forehead, "yeah, sounds good to me" I chuckle and continue to take notes. After class we got a fifteen minute brake, thankfully! "So, (Y/N). Is it true what I've heard about you joining the association again?" Ruka asked, I sighed, "and why does that concern you?" She gave me that bitchy grin, "well... a vampire hunter can't possibly be part of a class filled with vampires let alone date one!" I sigh, "well, that's my problem, ain't it? Then buzz off" I said as I packed my things, "awww, is little (Y/N) pissed?" She said in a tone which you'd use towards children, I clenched my fists, "not at all Ruka, not at all...." she grinned again, "well that's wonderful!" Hanabusa is about to go stop Ruka when her eyes become wide open and I stood here looking deeply into her eyes while grinning, "Ruka.. maybe I'm working for the association because I'm making sure they don't kill innocent vampires? Or maybe I'm doing it for my own benefit, who knows? After all, you can't foresee a BlueBlood's thoughts or actions, am I right?" Her mouth is wide open and I chuckle as I walk past her and out of the classroom.
3rd person POV
Ruka stood frozen for a good two minutes, "her eyes... so scary!" She finally said with horror written all over her face, "it's worse than when Kaname gets mad! And we all know how terrifying that is! How can you trust her? She's a BlueBlood! The goddess of all vampires! And you trust her, just like that? I don't get it!" Akatsuki stopped Ruka and said, "because she's proven that she's trustworthy, she has proven her loyalty by enduring whatever it is she went through when she was kidnapped. Also, because she's been through a lot through the years with us and she still doesn't hold a grudge against vampires! Someone bit her and activated her powers and she's not mad at the vampire who did it! How can you not trust her? Plus, how many times has she helped us? Put herself in danger in order to protect us? Sure, she doesn't always tell us the whole story, but at least she's not a bitch like you!" Everyone was so shocked that Akatsuki stood up to her like that. That he actually spoke and raised his voice against Ruka, but her response was something that none of them expected, her eyes teared up, "what about what she did to poor Zero, Hanabusa and even Kaname! They fell for her and she's only been treating them badly ever since!" This time Shiki stood up and spoke, "you're wrong Ruka! It wasn't her choice to make them fall for her! Clearly, she's just their type! She never intended to do that! And if you haven't noticed, her only reason to be in the night class is because she wanted to study vampires and understand her powers! Also to avoid Zero.. but that's not the point! Also, it seems you have forgotten so let me remind you... it wasn't just Kaname, Hanabusa and Zero That fell for her!everyone else too! Me, Akatsuki and Takuma! (Y/N) is s truly amazing person and doesn't have a rotten personality like you! She's open to new things and she never judges anyone by its cover!!" Ruka's eyes were wide open, so wide it seemed as if her eyes were going to pop out, "how?... no, why?... why would you stand up to her? Why would you treat me like this? Me! Ruka! The one who knows you better than she does!" Takuma stepped in, "Ruka, Shiki is right, you don't really have a great personality and you're not very nice towards us.. you're jealous over the smallest of things and you act like a complete, please excuse my language, bitch. It's not easy for us to know that almost every guy has feelings for (Y/N) nor that she chose Hanabusa over any of us... but we still love her as a friend because she's kind and she's so talented! She listens to what we have to say, our interests and even our most random moments! Look, (Y/N) may work for the Hunters association but she does it for a reason, and that reason is, again, please excuse my language, a pretty damn good reason if you ask me. So please... drop all accusations against her and trust her" Ruka scoffed, "as if! And you kept talking about some reason or whatever, please do tell what her so called reason is!" Kaname finally stepped in, "her reason is research, as obvious as it may be. She's trying to figure out who the people that kidnapped her are and why they did what they did. She's also trying to understand BlueBloods a bit better by checking whether they have information about them or not. So Ruka, stop judging a book by its cover and finally read it, instead of skipping the chapters and miss the plot" Ruka sighed, "fine! But only because Kaname said so! I'll... try to be more observant and careful from now on and uh... I'll try to be nicer towards (Y/N)" she said as she sat down in her chair. The boys sighed in relief and sat down in their seats as well. But there's a twist, they didn't know that (Y/N) had been standing outside the classroom and heard every word that was said, she now had tears of joy in her eyes and she silently whispered, "thank you.." then she wiped her eyes away and went into the classroom again taking a seat next to Hanabusa again.
