Chapter Seventeen - Announcement

Kaname's POV
I was walking towards my room when I heard laughing. The laughter is similar to (Y/N)'s laughter so I decided to check it out. I walked towards where the laughter came from, it was coming from the library, I hid behind some bookshelves and saw (Y/N) and Takuma. She hit him in the head and looked at her book, Takuma laughed and looked at his book. Interesting... I walked over to them, "hello (Y/N), Takuma, what are you two doing?" Takuma smiled gently as (Y/N) sighed, "studying" I raised an eyebrow, "oh really? But we don't have any exams coming up" (Y/N) just sighed once again, "well you of all should know but since I was absent for so long I missed a few exams in the Day Class and in order for me to continue in the Night Class, I have to pass them. I only have math left" I smiled towards her, "well then, good luck" and walked away. So she and Takuma are close? When did that happen?...
Takuma's POV
"So, (Y/N), got any confessions lately?" She didn't look up from her book when she replied, "no, I haven't" I grinned slightly, "oh?" She nodded, "and I won't get them anymore, I hope.. because I've made up my mind" I raise an eyebrow, "and what have you decided?" She sighs and looks at me, "I've picked Hanabusa" Takuma laughed, "Aido?" She nodded, "yes, he's... he's kind, funny and he's really fun to be with. When I'm with him my mind sort of relaxes and all my worries fade away, I feel safe with him.." I smiled, " I understand but... you do realize that he would not be able to help you with your studies, right?" She nods, "of course, but that's what friends are for, you'll help me!" She smiled proudly, "of course" I smiled, she put her pencil down and stopped writing, "plus, he and I have a history... I still remember when we first met! He thought I was a guy and I got really offended, back then I had short hair... should I cut it again?" I shook my head, "you look pretty with long hair" she chuckles and blushed slightly, "thank you" then she continued to study.
Your POV
After finishing my studies with Takuma I went to see Hanabusa, I knocked on his door, "Hanabusa? It's me, (Y/N)" he opened the door, he had a bright smile on him, "(Y/N)!" I smile and hug him, "Aido... I'm really glad I met you, you make me happy! And that smile of yours is so cute! And... I... I love you!" My cheeks turned red, when I look up to him his eyes are open wide and his mouth as well, "so.. you're saying you'd like to date me?" I nodded and my blush darkened, he smiled brightly then kisses my cheek, "I'm glad you chose me!" We laugh as we go into his room, "so... what should we do?" I asked him, "hm... well it's almost lunch so shall we go to the cafeteria?.." my stomach grumbled, "I'll take that as a yes" he laughed and took my hand, then we walked to the cafeteria. When we arrive there, everyone else had already arrived, "hey guys" I said as I smiled towards everyone, "hi!" Takuma greeted with a bright smile, "sup" said Akatsuki, "hello" from Shiki and no one else said anything, probably didn't notice. Hanabusa and I went to get our "food" since we're vampires we don't really eat human food.. I sigh, "food is one of the things I miss about being human.." Hanabusa smiles, "well, whenever you're hungry just come to me" my eyes widen, "I can't do that! I-" he cut me off by kissing me, I blushed. We walked over to the others and sat with them, they were already drinking from the blood bags. No, not human but animal blood, it's not as good as human, but it works. "so, Hanabusa" Shiki started, "what was with that kiss?" Hanabusa looked at me, not sure what to reply, "well, Aido and I have started dating" I said casually. The atmosphere in the room got really dark all of a sudden, "if you'll excuse me" Kaname said as he stood up and walked away, "what's up with him?" Ruka grinned, "he's upset, didn't you notice earlier? (Y/N), I think that you're the only one that hasn't noticed, he still has feelings for you" my eyes widen, I sigh as I relax, "well that's too bad, Kaname may have feelings for me, that doesn't matter, Aido stole my heart and that's where i will be" Hanabusa smiled proudly, "oh, by the way (Y/N), what was it that got you to start dating Hanabusa? What made you fall for him?" Ruka asked, I thought for a while, "it's always been like that, my heart was split in three form the very beginning" Takuma raised an eyebrow, "we've been studying math so you should know that three doesn't make sense if you've only dated two..." I sighed, "I guess you could say that deep, deep down inside my heart I had feelings for Kaname, although, I always ignored it" I sighed again, "I'm gonna go now, I have to go to an exam..." I walk away and towards the classrooms, it's so creepy... the classrooms get so scary so late, they're so dark... it's almost as if something will jump out and attack you from the shadows.. A shiver goes down my spine and I continue walking.
Kaname's POV
'So she picked Hanabusa... tch! Why doesn't it work out?! Why didn't she pick me?!' I took a deep breath and calmed myself down, "well... it wouldn't have worked out anyway.. I have Yuki and we're betrothed..." I sigh, "too bad"
