Chapter Thirteen - Romantic Complications

Your POV
I woke up to the sound of birds singing and the morning sun shining down on my face, not something a vampire would love to be woken up by.... I went out of bed, wait... this ain't my bed... I looked around trying to realize where I was, oh, it's Kaname's room. I walked towards the door and opened it, I went downstairs and saw everyone, "morning..." I said still half asleep, "(Y/N)! Good morning! How are you feeling?" Takuma said happily, I rubbed yawned, "awfully tired and thirsty" I yawned, "how much have I missed out of class?" Ruka hissed, "many things" "nothing you can't catch up on in one class" Akatsuki interrupted, "haha, you're probably right" I stretched my arms out and was about to go outside when my knees gave up and I fell to the floor, "guess I should stay put in bed for a bit...." Shiki helped me up, "yeah, you should" I sighed, "alright! But then one of you is gonna have to let me copy your notes cuz I ain't gonna fail class!" "Alright, I guess I should get some rest then"  I laid down in my bed, Akatsuki had carried me up to my bedroom. Everyone nodded and left, except Hanabusa, "(Y/N)?" I looked at him, "hmm?" He blushed a bit, "you said you were thirsty... right?" I sat up and nodded, "yeah, why?" He looked at the ground, "you can drink mine..." my eyes widen, "what?!" He nodded, "yeah... I mean I don't want you to starve..." "you idiot! Do you think I want to hurt my friend?! I really care about you so I'll just eat the blood tablets!" Hanabusa blushed slightly, "well... thank you but... didn't you know that by drinking a vampire's blood, blood that the vampire offered... is a way of showing affection?..." my eyes widened, "so you're telling me that even after everything I've gone through, how badly I've treated you and how bad my personality seems.... you still like me?" He shook his head, "I don't think it's 'like' anymore... (Y/N).... I think I love you..." my eyes widened even more, if that's possible, "oh umm..... thank you... I uh... I'm not really sure how to reply to that.." he chuckled, "you don't have to, but at least drink my blood because the tablets taste horrible and I can't let you starve" I sigh in defeat, "alright, can I drink from your wrist?" He nodded and pulled up his sleeve on his right arm as he sat next to me, then he put his arm out for me to drink. I sighed as m years turned red and my fangs appeared, I started at his wrist for a bit before sinking my fangs in his wrist, "wow! His blood tastes so good! It's so sweet..." I thought to myself. Once I had my stomach full I pulled away from him and turning my head as well, "I'm sorry.. I probably took to much.." he shook his head, "no, it's fine" he placed his index finger and thumb on my chin and turned my face towards his, then he held my face and leaned in closer and closer. When I look closer at his face, I notice how truly beautiful his eyes are and how detailed they are. They remind me of when I used to go skating with my parents, they remind me of the happy times I had with my foster family when I thought I was human.. I gave up once again and let him kiss me, I really suck when it comes to boys, huh... his lips were soft and I enjoyed the warmth of his lips on mine, I didn't feel like this with the others... maybe I really do love him back? When we finally broke the kiss, desperate for air, we smiled at each other gently, "you know.. I think I might like you too Hanabusa.... but, I think we should take it slow, I'm still new to loving and still afraid something might happen" he nodded, "I understand, completely! And I'm willing to wait for you as long as you promise to come to me when you are ready, okay?" I nodded and hugged him, "I promise"
Kaname's POV
No... it's can't be... was that really the smell of Hanabusa's blood? Don't tell me... (Y/N) drank it? Oh dear, whatever shall we do about this? Now he has the upper hand when it comes to her... I don't want to loose her like how I lost Yuki, I'm going to win this battle Hanabusa Aido, just you wait!
