Chapter Thirty Five - The Big Boss Surprise

I ran after Kaname and his little sister. It just didn't make sense! Kaname doesn't have another sister! He would've told me by now! Would he though?.. I mean, after everything I'm sure he doesn't trust me anymore.. I mentally slap myself, "stop it! I'm sure he trusts you! It's all part of his mind game!" I continue to run until finally, we come to a stop. We're on the rooftop. They turn around and face me, with creepy wide grins on their faces, "what's wrong (Y/N)?" I crouch over to catch my breath, "damn.... you.. guys... run fast!...." they chuckle, "we go as fast as our master wants us" I sigh, "let me guess.. it's him?" They look at each other, puzzled by my words. "I'm sorry, who's him?" Fake Kaname asked. I smiled and replied, "I suspect he's your master. Anyway, why take the form of Kaname and his little sister?.. that really gave it away, why not just Kaname and someone else?.." They grin and answer, "why don't you ask master yourself?.." they said as they disappear into blue mist. "Well well well, if it isn't (Y/N) (L/N).." I shiver as I hear his voice, "I was really hoping I wouldn't run into you.. but I figured this was all your doing" then man chuckled, "indeed, seems you know me well" I shrug, "two months of "working" for you.. yeah, you kinda start learning a thing or two about your "boss" just saying.." he chuckled again, "I suppose so, I'm also guessing you then know very well what I'm doing this for?" I smile proudly, "of course I don't! Why go through all this trouble? Why not just kidnap me again? Like all of the other times" I sigh as I continue, "I'm starting to think you like being in my company" he gasps, "you really think I enjoy being with someone like you? As if! You're the worst being alive! Which is why... I must END YOU!" His eyes glow Cobalt Blue with a red tint, his fangs grow wider and his nails turn to claws, "oh bullocks.. I know what that means.." the man grin and lunges at me. I barely dodge. The man lunges from behind this time. I didn't have time to react since his speed had increased and so he was able to scratch my back, 'damn!' I cursed under my breath. I tap my pockets hoping to find my weapons, but of course, I ran out of my room after the two fakes without grabbing my weapons.. just as I'm wondering what I can use to kill him he comes at me from above. I dodge again but trip over myself and fall on my burr. "Ouch.. ugh, it's been too long since I fought.. I'm rusty.." I get up and get into battle position. The man grins, "what'ssss the matttterr" he hisses at me like a snake. Ew. "Nothing! Nothing at all! Now get read to have your ass whooped!" I felt my blood run down my back, seems like a deep cut he made. It appears I lost a lot of blood cuz I was gettin a little woozy. I lunges at him this time, I manage to punch him in his face, gut and I'm able to kick him in his stomach. He takes a step back and attempts to scratch me again, he succeeded. He cut me deep in my left arm with his claws. My blood hit the floor, forming a puddle. "Crap" I say as I trap my arm and back away. "I need something and quick.." that's when I remembered, "my hairpin! Or whatever it is.." I grab my hair accessory, press the middle stone and it turns to Two BC-41 daggers. I lunge at him and stab him twice, once In the heart area and the other one was supposed to go to his chest as well but ended in his side die to him trying to dodge. The fight went on for a while. Blood was spilled and bruises were given. In the end I won, thankfully, but as I was celebrating my victory a red barrier appeared over the school. "Oh come on people! He was just a sock puppet?!!" I sit down and take a deep breath, "I really need to exercise more.. I'm not sure I can last another fight, my body has grown weak this past year.." I sigh, "now to figure out how to break this barrier!" I walk to my dorm room to clean myself up, "I'm not sure all the vampires and Hunters will make it in time.. and with this Barrie do think they'll only be able to stay outside" I put on my old hunting outfit along with a belt to keep my weapons, "I better go find the others to team up and get our stories straight" I walk out of my room, "I'm sure they met up with other people. I walk towards the library hoping to find someone. Thankfully, I saw Takuma running towards me, "RUN!" He yelled as he ran... with a book in his hand?" I caught up with him and asked, "what's the matter? And what's up with the book?.." he continues to run, huffing and puffing, "this book... is the... book.. of BlueBloods.." he managed to get out through his heavy breathing, "woman.. trying to.. get it too..." he points behind us and sure enough, there was a woman following us. "I'll deal with her, you go to my room, I'll get there as soon as I can" he blushed slightly and nodded, then he ran off. I stopped and faced the woman, "now then.. you're gonna be next pray?" The woman grinned and lunges at me, "I may be rusty.. but I still remember how to use a gun" I said before shooting her three times, once in the head and the other two in her heard. The woman's eyes widened as she fell to the floor and bled out. Ouch. As I started walking again to my room I felt pain in my back, "damn.. I did not see that one coming.." I said as I pass out, once again.
