Chapter Twenty-Seven - Travel

Now everyone knows.. I wonder what'll happen now that I've made it official.. "that actually explains a lot.." Takuma said, "yeah.." I replied, "it does.. but despite my conversation with the vampire hunter's head, doesn't mean the random people appearances will stop, I'm sure that'll only make them want me dead even more considering that I discovered their little secret" I chuckle before continuing, "ahh.. little secret.. anyway, I will be a complete shut in the next few weeks, I'll try to go outside for classes and christmas because I'll be researching something and doing some.. experimenting" Kaname raised an eyebrow, "experimenting, how?.." I wasn't able to give him an answer because Takuma stepped in, "obviously her powers, she's gonna research her powers and abilities and experiment them on things in her room in case they're too powerful so that we don't get hurt" he smiles at me and I smile back, "yeah, he's right!" Kaname looked at us with suspicion, "Is there something between the two of you that we aren't aware of?..." we shake our heads, "not at all" Takuma laughs and continues, "I'll admit I would like there to be something, as we all probably do but.. there's nothing, her mind is set on herself.." I nod, "yup, he's right again, I've decided that the only romance there'll be in my life is between me and.. food, cuz I love food and apparently I can eat it, also.. it's for your own good, I don't want to ruin our friendship nor do I want to hurt you.." Kaname nods, "fair enough, then continue" I bow and thank him, "there isn't much to continue actually.." Takuma steps forth and bows, "may I?" I shrug, "Sure, if all of you drop the formals" he straightens himself, "right.. sorry" I chuckle, "it's fine" he smiles and continues, "now then.. we know (Y/N)'s plans in experimenting her powers.. now it's our turn, we're gonna have to come up with a plan and try to crack the case" This time Hanabusa stepped in, "what are you talking about?" Takuma gives Hanabusa a weird look, I wonder why.. "The Hunter's Association told (Y/N) That her memories had been removed, they also said that they couldn't redeem them" Shiki was the one who spoke up this time, "so you're suggesting we find out why they were removed and how to get them back?" Takuma nodded, "and if possible, to find out where she belongs, basically, if she has a family or even a fiancé somewhere it'd be our job to find them" Takuma nodded again, "indeed, so.. who's with me?" Ruka immediately raises her hand, "I'm in!" She said full of confidence, I raised an eyebrow, "you? Help me? Are you sure you're Ruka?.." she scoffed, "of course I am! But.. I guess I've sort of started not hating you and I'd like to be friends..." I chuckled, "you sure you just don't want me gone so the guys can forget about me?.." she blushes in embarrassment, "That too.." I laugh, "don't worry, I'm sure we can be friends and I have no interest in dating at the moment!" I smile towards her and she smiles back, "now then! How about we start doing something!" I walked to my room and started gathering my things, is that research, you ask? Yes, in a way it is.. just not the way you think, now then. There was a knock on my door, "yeah?" Silence. "Hello?" Silence, again. I decided to walk to the door and open it, my hand reached the door handle but before I was able to touch it someone grabbed me from behind and covered my mouth with a cloth. The person started dragging me away, where did they come from?.. who is it? I was able to turn my head slightly and I fought a glimpse of brown hair, damn, that doesn't help one bit.. I turned my head a bit more and before I passed out I saw a blue glow, where it came from I do not know.

I woke up in a strange place, it was dark so I couldn't really see well, wait.. what? How is it possible that I don't see well?... where the hell am I! Thankfully, I wasn't tied to anything or tied together. I stood up from the ground which felt hard and cold like cement, am I outside?.. no, then I'd be able to see clearly. I took a step forward but before I put my whole weight into the step I heard a door open behind me, I turned around and saw a bright light coming from.. above? Am I in some sort of a basement? "Well well, looks like my minions did a good job of bringing you here, in one piece I hope, well whatever, I can work with you even if there's a limb missing" "seriously? Ew, there's something wrong with you.." I said to the light as I saw a black silhouette in the middle of the light. I slowly started walking towards it, taking mouse-steps and being as silent as possible, "of course! I'm a mad scientist after all!" Oh crap, "a mad scientist you say? And um... what exactly is your goal?.." the scientist took a step forward, "to research vampires of course!" Wait a minute.. "but I'm not a vampire!" The scientist laughed, "oh! I am very well aware of that! I removed your powers, silly!" I knew it! "And uh.. what do you plan on using them for?.." the scientist laughed his mad laughter, "alas, I admit.. I haven't thought that far" thank goodness, "is there any hope for me to leave?.." the scientist clapped his hands, "of course! I forgot about that! Yes, you're free to go!" I walked closer and ended up stomping my toe on the bottom step, "ouch!!!" The scientist laughed, "ahh, that never gets old, watch your step!" Then he walked away laughing as I walked up the stairs. The light was blinding. Once my eyes had adjusted to the light I looked around, it looked like a normal lab but then again... they took away my vampire abilities so... yeah, "where exactly are we?" The scientist laughed again, normally this time though, "so no one told you?" I shook my head, "oh.. well! We're in Denmark!"

I am sososososososo sorry!!! I thought I updated but I didn't!! Please forgive me!! And please forgive me for ending this chapter at a slight cliff...
but it brings me to tears to say.. my updates might be slower the next days.. why? Cuz I'm getting a job! If I'm accepted.. also because I'm currently in the process of buying a horse, I'm just hoping I get chosen.. so my updates will possibly, if I'm lucky! A week.. otherwise two.. three... maybe a month? I hope it'll only take a week! And again... I am very sorry!! See you next time!
