Chapter Thrity Six - Training

Your POV

I woke up yet again with a massive headache,
"Ugh.. what happened? Oh yeah.."
I said as I remembered last night's events.
"Oh no! Takuma!"
I said in a panicked voice.
"Yeah?"
He answered. His voice came from beside me. I turned my head and see him,
"Oh.. hey.. sorry.."
He chuckles,
"Don't worry, I'm just glad you're safe.. again"

I chuckle but as I do a sharp pain stops me,
"Damn.. how in the world did I get so out of shape?"

He chuckles,
"Can you walk? Everyone's waiting for you downstairs.."

I nod as I sit up,
"I think so.."
I stand up and immediately loose my balance,
"Or not.."
I rub the back of my head and laugh softly..

He smiles,
"Let me help you"

He helps me back into bed and smiles,
"I'll go inform the others.."

I nod. He leaves my room and I sigh.

"Now that the threat is over.. how in the world am I gonna deal with the guys?? I mean.. sure, I'm hot, okay.. I was hot.. now I'm more of a lazy slob than the badass activist.. even my aim was off! I barely hit her last night!! Guess it's back to training! Yeah! I'm gonna talk to Toga and the headmaster and ask to leave while I train and just.. find myself again! I need to be strong!"

As I finished my sentence I laid back down in bed,
"I'll do it tomorrow.."
And fell asleep.

The next morning I woke up and quickly packed my things, I wanted to leave as quickly as I could. I hurried to the headmaster's office with my cargo colored suitcase and grey backpack.

As I arrived at the headmaster's office I knocked twice and walked in,
"Headmaster.. I have a favor to ask"

He looks up from his paperwork,
"Oh? Usually when you come here it's for a warning so what is it this time??"

I take a deep breath,
"I would like to leave.. for a month or two. I need some time to focus on myself, train and get control of well.. me. I also want to be able to keep the others safe so if and a big IF someone were to attack, they'd come to me instead of them"

The headmaster nods in understanding,
"Alright, I shall send Togs along with you, just in case something happens"

I nod,
"Thank you.. and please, don't tell everyone the real reason as to why I'm leaving.."

He raises an eyebrow,
"And what am I supposed to say instead?"

I flash him a toothy grin,
"You'll figure something out~"

He smiles gently,
"Very well then, go find Toga and go, before I change my mind"

I wink,
"I'm gonna miss you, bye now!~"
I blow him a kiss and run off.

I sling my backpack over my shoulder and go look for Toga. It took me about twenty minutes until I found him, he was relaxing in the teacher's lounge, I bet he was hoping he'd be left alone.

"Oi! Toga! Get your ass moving, we're leaving"
I said as I poked him.

He groans in frustration,
"Do I have to??"

I nod,
"You get to whoop my ass back into shape"

He grins and stands up,
"Let's to then"

We walk to the front gate. I look back at the school last one time,
"I'm going to miss them.."

"I won't"
Toga quickly replied,
"Now hurry, let's be quick before they see us leave"

I nod and follow him as we leave the school grounds.

After about two hours of driving we finally arrive at a cabin in the woods.
"We'll be staying here for two weeks"
He said.

We walk inside. I groan as I see how dirty it is.
"Eeww, how long has it been since someone's been here??"

He grins,
"Probably ten years, how old are you again?.. oh yes, fifteen years"

I gag at his answer and place down my bags at the cleanest spot I could find, gross..

"Yeah, we clearly have some work to do.. since when does dirt bother you?" He said with a raised eyebrow.

I stare at him for a while,
"Oh my god.. you're right.."

He grins, "now let's get to business. Your first task is to clean this place, I want it spotless by the end of the day! While you're cleaning I'll be buying groceries"

I gasp and look at my watch,
"You're expecting me to clean this place in four hours?"

He shakes his head,
"I'm asking you to wash this place from top to bottom, scrub every nook and cranny and scour the floor"

I look at him, mouth wide open.
"In four hours?? You're crazy!"

His grin widens,
"and you're lazy, now get to work!"
Then he left.

I take a deep breath,
"Alright.."

I grab the cleaning supplies and start working.
"Clean?! How's that training?!"

About three hours later I finished cleaning the house and a bit outside. Then Toga finally came back.

"Well? Is it clean enough?"
I asked desperately.

He looks over the place. He traces his index finger across the table and windowsills, looking for dust. To his surprise there was none.

"You missed a spot"
He said as he pointed towards the kitchen.

I groan as I walk over to the kitchen,
"well? Where is it?"
He grins,
"No where, you did well"

I smile brightly and cheer,
"Yes!! Thank you!"
I plop down on the couch and sigh in exhaustion,
"I'm just gonna close my eyes for a bit..."
I said as I started to slowly nod off..
