Third person p.o.v.

You have lived with Hagrid your whole life and thought of him as your father even though he told you that he was your uncle and that he adopted you but you loved him like a father and saw him like it. He constantly told you, that you had a knack for caring for the magical creatures and would tell you about Harry Potter. You loved the tales that Hagrid had to tell even though you are positive that you have heard them all, there are a few new ones every now and again but they still excited you and you loved to see Hagrid happy. You had asked him about the scar that you got as a baby but he always seemed to change the subject or avoid it some way. It was on your left arm exactly in the middle.

Your 11th birthday was coming up but you had completely forgot about it. You were always talking to the animals and caring for them, but of course your curiosity had you wonder the castle and around the ground's. One day you got lost and started crying, cause you were only four years old. A door appeared on the wall out of nowhere and you pushed the door open and went inside. You looked up and saw a dragon. Instead of screaming and running away, You walked up to it and look at it for a moment.

It tilted it's head at the same time you did. It was white and very big. It started sniffing you before blowing hot air out making you laughed and giggle as it slung your hair back. You reached out still laughing a little to the dragons snout. It let you pet it until you heard Hagrid call your name. It pushed you out and the door closes and vanishes just before Hagrid finds you.

(Got off track I am so sorry)

Your p.o.v.

I was in our hut making a present for my dad when he walked in. I quickly hid it and started playing with Fang. "Ello, my little hippogriff. How have you been today?"

"Hello dad. I've been having fun playing with Fang."

"Oh, is that so?"

I nod before saying, "I made you a gift as well."

"Why me. Don't you know-"

"Shush. I want to give you something so I will give you something that I made." I take out a locket made of grass, bark, flowers and a small enchantment that aunt McGonagall taught me on a really long chain that Dumbledore gave me for the locket. "It's a locket. I used a charm aunt McGonagall taught me to hold it together and to change the picture. I made it big for you and Uncle Dumbledore gave me the chain." He opened it up and looked at the picture inside. It's on me as a baby and it changes to a picture of me giving him a hug just last week.

"Sweet heart." He was quiet for a while before it looked like he was going to cry.

"Dad don't cry, I'm sorry if I made you upset, I-I... I just wanted to-"

"I'm not upset. I love it. I couldn't ask for a better gift." He smiled at me.

I smiled in relief and gave him a hug. "Your welcome daddy."
