The Chosen Two (Harry Potter X Reader) Years 1-7

Chapter 2

Harry's P.O.V.

"Intriguing. Isn't it?"

I'm in Professor Lupin's class with Ron and right now we are staring at a cupord that keeps moving. "Any one have a guess to whats inside?"

"That's a boggert that is." A boy in our class say's.

"Good. Now can anyone tell me what a boggert looks like?"

"No one knows." (Y/n) say's from beside me.

Wait. (Y/n). I look over and see (Y/n) standing beside me and just a little bit past her is Hermione. "When did they get here?" Ron asks.

"Boggert's are shape shifter's. They take the form of whatever a particular person fears the most. That's what makes them so"

"Terrifying yes, yes, yes, yes." The cage rattles again. "Luckily a simple charm exists to repel a boggert." The cage rattle's and he looks behind him before turning back to us. "Let's practice it now it now, uh with out wand please." He say's waving his hands at a few students to put their wands away. "After me. Ridiculous."

"Ridiculous." almost the entire class repeats.

"Very good." It rattles violently and we step back a bit. "Little louder. Ready. Ridiculous."

"Ridiculous." The class repeats louder.

"Very good. Well so much for the easy part. You see the incantation is not enough. What really finishes a boggert is laughter. You need to force  it to assume a figure you find truly amusing. Let me explain, uh, Nevile. Will you some up here please." I looked over at him and he seemed scared. "Come on don't be shy." He slowly walked up to Professor Lupin. "Nevile, what frightens you most of all."

He mumbles something and I can't hear it. "Yeah he can be scary at time." (Y/n) say's.

She heard him? "Sorry?" Professor lupin say's not hear what he said.

"Professor Snape." He say's again.

We all laugh except for (Y/n). She smacks Ron Hermione and I. "Professor Snape." Professor Lupin say's tying not to laugh to much. "Frightens all. And I believe you live with your grandmother.

"Yes but I don't want that booger to turn into her either."

We laugh again and again (Y/n) smacks us only a little bit harder. "No." He turns around as the wardrobe rattles again and then turning back. "It won't. I want you to picture her clothes and only her clothes very clearly in your mind."

"She carry's a red hand bag-"

"We don't need to hear." Professor Lupin say's. "As long as you see it, we'll see it. And when I open that wardrobe here's what I want you to do." He whispers something to Nevile but I can't hear.

" That sounds like it's going to be funny." (Y/n) say's somehow hearing what he said

Nevile looks at the teacher scared before he turns to the wardrobe as it rattles again. "Can you do that." Nevile nods. "Wand at the ready." Lupin say's getting his wand out as Nevile gets his. "One. Two. Three." Lupin flicks his wand and the wardrobe opens and Professor Snape walks out as Lupin goes behind Nevile. "Think Nevile think. He say's quietly.

After a moment Nevile raises his wand and say's, "Ridiculous." and Snape is now in weird looking clothes and the whole room laughs.

"Wonderful Nevil. Wonderful. You did very well. to the back Nevile, every one form a line There was a lot of pushing and shoving until a line was formed. Sort.

Ron was in the front, then a girl, then me. "Form a line. I want everyone to picture something they fear the very most and turn it into something funny." He turns on music. "Next, Ron." Ron walks forward, "Concentrate. Be ready." The Boggert I know is changing into a giant spider. Once it does Ron starts whimpering and starts to pull out his wand and the spider starts coming closer. "Wand at the ready Ron. Wand at the ready."
