Chapter Nine

[Nine]

***Lexi's POV***

I stepped out of the airport, and the warm sunlight soaked into my skin. We just landed in Florida; our next stop for Magcon. We're staying here for two weeks, then going to Washington D.C., and then we get to go back home for a break. After that, we go to Dallas, then New York.

"Hey guys! We are here in sunny Florida, and-" Hailey was recording on her camera, but got cut off but 8 freaks.

"HEY GUYS!!!" Matt screamed, and ran over to hug us. He gave me a huge bear hug first, almost to the point where I couldn't breath. Next came Carter, Nash, Jack and Jack, Taylor, Shawn, and Cameron. I laughed and rolled my eyes.

"Well, these 8 freaks just arrived," Maddy said, now recording, "so say hi!" She turned the camera over to all the guys. They all said hey, and did weird things. Maddy shut off the camera and we all got into the limo.

"So, babe, how was the flight?" Taylor asked while we walked into the hotel. We tagged behind everyone else.

"Alright. Yours?" I asked. The guys got put onto one flight, while Maddy, Hailey, and I got put onto another.

"Good. Matt fell asleep and was practically drooling on me, but other then that, good." He smirked and I laughed.

"Oh, uh, Lex?" He asked.

"Mhm?"

"Liz is also coming, and staying with us..." Taylor trailed off, and I tensed a little.

"Oh, um, alright." We got to the desk, and gave the girl our information. I could totally tell she was trying to flirt with Taylor, but he didn't seem to notice.

"Taylor, Jack Gilinsky, and Jack Johnson will be sharing a room," said the girl, typing away on the computer. "Matthew, Maddy, and Nash will be sharing..." She typed a lot more, and read stuff on the computer. "Then Carter, Shawn, and Hailey..." She finally stopped typing, and said the last thing I wanted to hear. "Lexi, Cameron, and Liz will be sharing as well."

I threw my suitcase on top of the bed I chose, and sighed.

What are the chances of sharing with both Liz and Cam? I mean, come on. Talk about third wheel.

"Haha, Cam!" Said a high pitched voice. I turned my attention towards the door to see Cameron walk in with the blonde from the Diner. She noticed me, and took in my apperance.

"Oh, hi." She said to me, then 'whispered' to Cameron, "babe, you didn't tell me we would be sharing."

I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms, while Cameron stood there awkwardly, starring at me.

"Alright, well I'm gunna go hang out with Taylor. Have fun you guys." I forced a smiled and walked out, making my way to Taylor's room.

I knocked, and Jack Gilinsky flung open the door.

"Hey Lexi!" He smiled, and let me in.

"Hey! Do you guys wanna walk around town and hang out?" I asked all three guys, and they nodded. I smiled, and we decided on going to the town within walking distance.

"I'm hungryyy!" Jack Johnson and Taylor whined.

"Pizza?" I suggested, and they nodded. Jack Johnson and Taylor practically ran into the pizza place, while Jack Gilinsky and I were left laughing at them.

"Do you have to baby him, too?" Jack asked, referring to Taylor. I shrugged and giggled. We walked into the pizza place and joined them.

The guys ordered so much food, but I wasn't surprised. I rolled my eyes once the waitress walked away.

"You know, if you roll your eyes anymore, they might fall out of your head." Jack J said after taking a sip of his Coca-Cola. I hit his arm playfully, and Taylor changed the subject.

"So how's bunking with the two love-birds?" He asked, while playing with his straw wrapper.

I grunted, "don't remind me."

"It can't be that bad." Jack J said.

"Are you kidding? I get that they are together and shit, but why does she have to be so clingy?" I sighed and took a sip of my Sprite.

Jack G chuckled, "well, she did cheat on Cameron, and come down to Nashville for his 'forgivness.' I just don't get why he forgave her."

I almost chocked on my drink, "wait, that's the girl who cheated on him?" They all nodded.

"Then why would he want to get with that?" I asked.

"I don't know."

"Dunno."

"Because he's a dumb-ass."

I looked at Taylor, who was snickering at his comment. I couldn't help but giggle, and our food came.

We ate like we have been starved for weeks, and left. I couldn't help but wonder why Cameron would get with her again. Maybe he didn't think of me as anything special. Why is he sending so many mixed signals?
