[Twenty One]

***Lexi's POV***

"No way." Maddy and Hailey said in sync, looking at me with wide eyes.

I explained everything that happened last night, minus almost kissing Cam. We were in my room, and I was laying on my bed, while Maddy and Hailey sat on the couch.

"Yes way." I said playfully, rolling onto my stomach.

"So, anything happen with Cameron, then?" Hailey said, wiggling her eyebrows.

I rolled my eyes, and got up. I walked to my desk, grabbing my video camera.

"Come on, we haven't made a video in a while." I said, setting up the camera, pressing record, and plopping down in between Maddy and Hailey on the couch.

"Hey guys! So today we decided on doing a video about guys." I laughed, "We're gunna answer questions from Twitter that you guys asked."

"Alright, let's get going." Maddy grinned.

"Ok! Blondes or brunettes?" Hailey read off Twitter.

"Brunette." Maddy, Hailey, and I said in sync.

"So, basically, if you're a blonde, you're fucked." I laughed.

"No, blondes are cool, too. Just- ugh, next question." Maddy said, while Hailey giggled.

"Are girls really mean to guys if they like them?" I said, and Maddy answered.

"Well, we're not mean, but we joke around with them and stuff."

"Word." I said, and Hailey nodded.

"True or false: girls are... bitches on their period?" Maddy read in between laughs.

"Honestly, not really." Hailey said, because Maddy and I were laughing too hard.

"Alright, alright." I said, calming down.

"Weirdest date you've been on?" Hailey read, and they both looked at me.

I rolled my eyes. "Ok, well like two years ago I went on a date with this guy, and it was probably the worst. He didn't even speak, but just sat there. I mean, I felt bad and all, but it was so weird, I had to cut it off." I said, and Maddy giggled.

"One guy took me to this amusement park, and he was so sure that he wanted to go on the fastest roller coaster after he ate two hamburgers. He puked." Hailey said, and I laughed.

"A guy took me to the mall once, and he saw his ex. Long story short, Lexi had to pick me up." Maddy said.

"I remember that!" I said, laughing.

I was laying on the couch, facing the ceiling with my headphones in, when someone pulled them out. I opened my eyes, to meet with light brown ones identical to mine.

"I need help." Mike said, and I sat up, while he sat next to me.

"With?" I asked.

"Alright, so I wanna take Ava on a date tonight for her birthday and I don't know what to do." Mike said, scratching the back of his neck.

"Aw, Mike, are you finally coming to your little sister for advice?" I asked teasingly, while he rolled his eyes.

"If I say yes will you help me?" He asked.

"Maybe." I said with a smirk.

"Ok, fine, yes. Now what should I do?" Mike said.

"Oh! You know that spot in the park with all the trees? Where we used to go when we were little?" I asked.

"Yeah..." Mike said, a little confused.

"Take her there. You can set up a picnic or something. It would be really sweet." I said, leaning back on the couch, putting in one headphone.

"Yeah, that's good." He said, quickly standing up and kissing my forehead, before running out.

"You're welcome!" I yelled after him, rolling my eyes.

*

"Hello?" I said, putting my phone on speaker.

"Hey, Lex!" A familar, husky voice said, and a smile instantly spread onto my face.

"Taylor! Hey!" I said happily, laying down on my bed.

"How are you?" He asked.

"Good, how about you?" I asked.

"Alright, I miss my best friend, though." He said.

"Yeah, same here. Isn't it like 1 in the morning by you?" I asked, laughing.

"Yeah, I wanted to talk to you though. I miss my goodnight hugs." Taylor said, and I could picture his pouty-face.

"I miss mine more."

"Cameron told me what happened with Andrew. Are you alright?" He asked, and I wished I could hug him.

"I'm alright. I wasn't really upset, though, mostly mad. It's all good now." I said, sighing.

"I hope so. I might just come down to Cali to kick his ass." Taylor said, and I laughed.

"Please do, then I could see you." I said, and I could practically see him smirking.

"You know, we're acting like an inseprable couple, but it's only been two days since we last saw each other, and we're not dating." Taylor said with a chuckle, and I laughed.

My door opened, and I looked up.

"Lex, it's almost midnight." My brother mumbled, running a hand down his face. I could tell he was really tired.

"Yo, is that Mike?" Taylor said from the other line.

"Taylor?" Mike asked, stepping into my room. "What's up, man?"

"Not much, missin' the Summers." Taylor said and my brother smirked. Mike met Taylor when I video-chatted him in D.C. They exchanged numbers, and became good friends, actually.

"Haha, yeah. Come down to Cali, bro. There's some pretty sick parties here." Mike said.

"Hey, that's two reasons to come. I'll try my best." Taylor chuckled.

"Alright, bro, I'm beat. See ya." Mike said, walking out.

"You know, I'll never get over how you guys are friends." I laughed.

"Just gotta get used to it." He said.

"I don't of much of a choice, do I? Listen, I gotta go, don't wanna fall asleep on you. Bye, Taylor, miss you!" I said, trying to sound as happy as possible. It's only been a couple days, but I really missed everyone.

"Miss you, too. Night, Lex." He said, and I could tell he was upset, too.

We said our goodbyes, and hung up. He promised me that he would call or text every night.

I turned off the lamp on my night stand, then my phone went off. I grabbed it, opened up the text, and smiled.

'good night, beautiful (:'

I typed quickly, and sent back, 'night, cam (:'
